It’s like he’s always fighting previous demons.

Running up the middle 30 times is plain stupid and not tough. Will was bad too. Whole gameplan was awful.

Yeah the awful, AWFUL gameplan and lack of adjustments are what tells me he needs to go. Why the FUCK would you continuously run it into the teeth of SCUM's defense who has two first rounders when you're playing a backup center and you had to reshuffle your OL just a week ago?

I just feel awful for Knowles and the D because they played their hearts out and came up with some huge stops.

Depends on what you consider 'mediocre', because you can likely retain Sayin with expectations that he is starting next year. If there was a change made, and they kept Knowles, I see no reason to think this team can't have significant success still. There are no elite teams anymore in the portal area, heck, there are only a handful of elite units but I think our defense is at least one of them.

Even if he wins it all this season I’m not sure he would want to stick around. I know I am in the minority, but I would be fine with him coming back for another season.

But we desperately need a run-focused offensive line.

Serious question. Who is there that would be a good fit and get OSU back on track? Don't say Vrabel, Urban or Saban because none of them are coming. In all reality, who is out there that A) Truly gets the rivalry, and B) can get this team where it should be?

( just want to say I'm not asking as a defense for keeping Day, I'm finally off that train. I'm just curious to hear some realistic names)
