It’s like he’s always fighting previous demons.Toughness is winning The Game, no matter what it takes. It’s not running the same “tough” plays that are a terrible matchup vs your biggest rival and trying to will the impossible into existence, and coming up short.
Since it appears that Ryan Day has not learned his lesson in 4 years, maybe it’s time to take his talents elsewhere. At Ohio State, toughness is winning The Game. Period.
Yeah the awful, AWFUL gameplan and lack of adjustments are what tells me he needs to go. Why the FUCK would you continuously run it into the teeth of SCUM's defense who has two first rounders when you're playing a backup center and you had to reshuffle your OL just a week ago? They are basically forced to fire him at this point. 4 losses in a row. Lost to a clearly inferior team through an ineffective game plan and poor preparation. They have no other lever to pull.
My feelings exactly. It's going to mean blowing up the program and probably several mediocre seasons, but I think that Ryan Day is done at Ohio State. I honestly don't know if there is anyone available who will be better than Day.
Even if he wins it all this season I’m not sure he would want to stick around. I know I am in the minority, but I would be fine with him coming back for another season. My feelings exactly. It's going to mean blowing up the program and probably several mediocre seasons, but I think that Ryan Day is done at Ohio State. I honestly don't know if there is anyone available who will be better than Day.
