HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

Yep. If we can't manage to land these types of guys out of HS, there is absolutely zero reason we should not be able to go find a at least capable kicker through the portal.

If Day and Staff are looking at what we have and saying "yea thats good enough" then that's a major problem.
Or did we go after the Fredo kicker, and he felt that he wouldn't be developed to get to the NFL at Ohio State and chose Bama instead?

You know it’s worse when no one can give a name of a candidate that would be a better replacement.

It’s not one 1pt loss…it’s 1-7 and all the losses looking pretty much the same. But whatever
3 losses were against a stacked deck
1 loss was against what will go down as Saban's best team ever (and with Fields playing with a cracked rib)
1 loss was against a generational repeat national champion that took MHJ out of the game
1 loss was by one point on the road against the #3 team in the country

Who gives a shit what the circumstances were before the game?

We all watched the game, we all know who was the better team that night and who should have won.
In the 100+ years of Ohio State football, and hell over the 150-ish years of semi-organized football, how many hundreds of not thousands of times has the "better" team not won?

There's a reason Ohio State was 6 point dog against UGA. There's a reason they were a 3 point favorite at Oregon.

Sure thing bro.

Please continue with the character assassination then. As I've said, it's on point for the "fan"base.
"Character assassination" please. I'm sorry that pointing out Ryan Day's failures bothers you, but you (and everyone else) should be uncomfortable with what continues happening in these games, particularly at the end. He is consistently failing his team in the biggest moments of the biggest games. Maybe you are content being a rich man's Penn State, but others want and expect more - and they should.

But please keep telling more about Vegas odds as if that has a goddamn thing to do with what happened during a game and how we should evaluate the performance of a player or coach. You think Vegas odds show up in their game grades? You think Vegas odds show up in coaches' performance reports?

I genuinely cannot believe such a take even exists. My God.
