Unless the NFL comes calling.Unfortunately day will probably keep winning 10/11 games a year up until the Michigan game. So it’s going to be a long 4/5 years maybe more until anything is done.

Five wide bubble screen on third and two, someone needs to be fucking fired for that bullshit.
New offensive coordinator (relinquish play calling) or there’s the door, Day, your choice.
I think he was a brilliant OC circa 2017-2019. I think the game has clearly passed him by somehow already. Bring in a new mind or there’s the door.
Fickell is waiting in the wings.
Emphasized part of this because this is where I am.Five wide bubble screen on third and two, someone needs to be fucking fired for that bullshit.

I'd love to give him another chance, but the issues we've seen over the last 12 months are systemic, not something that gets fixed by shuffling around some deck chairs. John Cooper,by most measures was a very good head coach, he just didn't have that trait that GREAT coaches have. Ryan Day looks the same.to me. He can do all kinds of good here, but he's lost the two most important games he's had the last 12 months by a lot...and this one with PLENTY of motivation. The chinks in the armor have been growing since Urban's kids have filtered out of the program.
They hired Cliff Kingsbury they'd hire Ryan Day.Just in my head, I can't figure out the NFL team that will hire him this offseason.
I do think he bolts if someone offers him a job though. Stay ahead of the posse.
He’s too far in his own head and habits and is becoming predictable and less bold over the years. Would love to see a new play caller.
He wasn’t John Cooper but he’s evolving into him. Not GOOD.He’s too far in his own head and habits and is becoming predictable and less bold over the years. Would love to see a new play caller.
Well... this is prior to getting fired. These guys don't give up playcalling unless they're forced to. And when they're forced to it's usually prior to getting fired.
The only ones that give up playcalling are the ones that see the overall big picture and I don't think Day is at that point yet.
Day seems like a helluva guy and says all the right things. But he's lost more games to scUM in the last 12 months than the previous 2 head guys did in 17 years. Last Saturday on November is what you're graded on. Day is failing badly. You are probably right. I don’t want you to be, though. My appreciation for Day as a person is probably clouding my opinion right now.
I'm not sure he's evolving, or devolving as it were. He won big in 2019 with kids Urban recruited and coached. In the last two years, with largely his kids, they've got their butt whooped. He is who he is.He wasn’t John Cooper but he’s evolving into him. Not GOOD.
