Five wide bubble screen on third and two, someone needs to be fucking fired for that bullshit.

New offensive coordinator (relinquish play calling) or there’s the door, Day, your choice.

I think he was a brilliant OC circa 2017-2019. I think the game has clearly passed him by somehow already. Bring in a new mind or there’s the door.

I’m pretty sure Day calls the plays. Which I’ve wondered why for a while now. We have Kevin Wilson, who I’m not sure still what he does other than work with TEs. Day can make hard hiring decisions, but I think too much is on his plate with calling plays as well.
Honestly IdK, this game tore my heart out. The Game is always rough, but like others have said who lived through the Cooper years, that era was BRUTAL! Having so much talent, and knowing you have a much deeper squad than scUM, and yet they pushed OSU around and embarrassed them on a national stage yet again

The signs were there all year..people were mocked for pointing things out two years in a row. It is eerily similar to Cooper s great recruiter but to arrogant to get the “game”. Day set NC goals ..scUM doesn’t have those…reset with or without Day that’s Smith’s choice not mine.

I'd love to give him another chance, but the issues we've seen over the last 12 months are systemic, not something that gets fixed by shuffling around some deck chairs. John Cooper,by most measures was a very good head coach, he just didn't have that trait that GREAT coaches have. Ryan Day looks the same.to me. He can do all kinds of good here, but he's lost the two most important games he's had the last 12 months by a lot...and this one with PLENTY of motivation. The chinks in the armor have been growing since Urban's kids have filtered out of the program.
