Yes, Piqua has gone to state. They went in 2000 with a 12-2 record. we only got beat by Troy (our rival) and Brother Rice (Detroit). We played Olmsted Falls Bulldogs on Dec. 2nd, 2000 at Massillon Tiger Stadium. It was heavy snowing and we lost 21-0. Then we found out that we won a championship in 1915. But all we have is a trophy and newspaper articles on it. so it's still kind of cool to try to find that out. we do plan on going back to state this year.

We never been to state. I don't know our playoff history much. But I don't believe we have ever got past the second round.

However, in 2004 we had quite possibly the best team in the state in division 3. Went 9-1, losing only to eventual division 2 state champion Brookhaven(15-0) and playing them to their closest game all year, losing 15-2. Brookhaven beat some teams in the playoffs that year by 30 points.

We missed the playoffs by less than half of a point. That team was great. We averaged 40+ points a game, despite only 2 points against Brookhaven.

Many believe, and this is just not me thinking my school was best, that if we had got in the playoffs, no one could've beat us.

Just another reason why the current playoff system is not perfect.

Yep, it happens every once and while. What killed us was that our City League schedule. Only two teams on our schedule had a winning record. The rest were losing-record teams.

We don't schedule 7 of our games, which are league games. The school district schedules them against other schools in the district. And they stay the same every year. And another one of our games is against a team that is in our league, but not our division.


Once that I know of a team went 10-0 and didn't make it. That was Newcomerstown

I went to weight sessions today and yesterday. Also I went last wed. From 4:30-6:30

We don't do anything on Fridays, or Saturday, or Sunday. Starting next week we got regular weights/conditioning on Monday, then Camps on Tuesday and Wed., with another weight room on that Thursday.

We don't have any 7 on 7's until the 18th. Then we have another on the 20th at Capital University(You probably don't know where that is).

Since I'm going on vacation on the 18th til the 25th I'll miss those two. But I got one the day after I come back. After that we have two more play tech camps.

So with the 4 play tech camps, and the 3-7 on 7's that adds up to the max amount of days the coaches are allowed to coach us during July.

I basically just told you our whole summer schedule, in a short version.
