I had 16 person Halo Parties in my parents basement back in the day for the original, and it was the greatest times ever in console gaming.

My parents hated it because we were constantly knocking out the power in the house and having to flip the breakers. It was hilarious though in the middle of an intense match and the whole house goes black and 16 teenagers are MF'ing the darkness and talking shit.

So one of my friends (he's always the guy that has something go wrong) gets his XP maxed out one day, can't rank up until 12 hours later, and then the servers go crazy on him. This ended up persisting for about another 12 hours the next day, and he finally calls in. They tell him the servers are on overload right now (really?? 300,000 people playing online games, and that's too much?!) and they put him on a different server with about 35,000 lucky LVL 1's, 2's, and 3's. While it's great that he gets to rank up against terrible people, he also has no access to Xbox parties unless he parties up with someone he's playing with on the different server. After every game he plays, the lobby also lags out, and he has to research for a new game every time.

Anyone else having this happen to them on Sunday/Monday? I never had an issue, aside from right after the midnight release.

Holy crap, im on the 3rd mission, on Legendary solo...this part is impossibly by yourself. Have to take out two beams of light. The 2nd one is covenant. I'm lucky if i last longer than 30 seconds alive

Started playing Co-op campaign with my dad last tues on normal. Finished with my baby mamma on normal last weekend. Moved up to heroic on single player. Fuckin love this game. The only part that made me want to smash shit was the beginning of Midnight in the plane. I heard "You have not been composed" so many fucking times...when my daughter acts up after I tell her to chill, I tell her, in my Didact voice "YOU HAVE NOT BEEN COMPOSED. Such inoculation should not have been possible". :lol:

lol, so had something odd while playing the flood..


I was a spartan, and at one point, this one person kept running toward me and I kept killing him from a distance with the pistol..well, each time it said I betrayed him...I was thinking wtf? Each time my crosshairs showed red, and the radar showed a red dot, I let him get closer, and noticed he was indeed a spartan as well. He shot me and it said he betrayed me, was very strange, and really funny
