I have wondered similar things. I think it relates back to statements made by 343i prior to the release of the game where they stated that they believed Reach, while offering many game types, deluted the population playing the game by offering to many varients at once. I think their beliefs is that a higher population allows for appropriate player skill matches, faster matches, and more community interaction. Just a "guess" based on past statments.

It's stupid. So we may not see swat for month(s), or snipers for month(s).

Variety is better. It keeps the game fresh and keeps it from getting stale.

343 is really disappointing in many aspects of this game. It's kind of getting away from what Halo was and should be IMO

I just got off a little bit ago. I have a fundraisers/ball to go to tonight and then have to be at work at 3am for a network upgrade so I will not be on tonight. Hopefully tomorrow though! Anyone else having issues with their loadouts getting reset? Happened to me 3 times now!

Still trying to get used to the maps and weapons for my style of play. Seems like a lot of players like the rifle as opposed to the automatic assault rifle.

Some of the most successful players are the ones that can mow you down on vehicles. Maybe I should start on something different than Infinty Big Team Slayer.
