I don?t really know a whole lot about him, but I know that from the film they were showing on him, he looks really solid.

I like his aggressiveness better than Sam Shields. It could also give Charles Woodson a chance to play more Nickel and Safety. Dom Capers likes being creative with Woodson.

i like the sound of this

Packers extend QB Aaron Rodgers - ESPN

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have agreed on a five-year, $110 million contract extension, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

The deal would set the highest salary in NFL history, eclipsing the $120.6 million over six years the Baltimore Ravens gave quarterback Joe Flacco in March.

Rodgers will make $40 million in 2013, a league source told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen. The deal will add five years on top of the two years Rodgers has remaining on his contract, and keep Rodgers in Green Bay through the 2019 season, a source told Schefter.

Just to reinforce what a joke ESPN is, the "source" in this case was a press release. Nice inside scoop with your "sources", jackasses. :shake:

Edit: it looks like it was the local paper that broke all the details as properly sited by other media outlets not worried about their image and being "connected" with "sources".

Hey guys. Fairly new to the forums. Mom is from Sheboygan, WI and dad is from Cbus so I grew up a Packers and Buckeyes fan. Really glad to see Stoneburner sign with the Packers. Hopefully he can get some play time this coming season. I am also very surprised that Eddie Lacy was still available in the second round. Was nobody paying attention to what that kid brought to Alabama?!
