Easily this guy. Watch the whole thing it is fucking hilarious.

YouTube - Focus- Hocus Pocus (live '73)
I see your Focus and raise you Nitro. 80's glam taken to ridiculous extremes, bordering on parody (these guys acknowledged it, as most of them were highly skilled musical teachers/instructors before forming their own bombastic supergroup). Only hardcore Adam Curry/Headbangers Ball viewers remember them. These guys were the Spinal Tap of the 80s, released two albums, did one tour, and were permanently banned from most of the places they played because "Jim Gillette" destroyed PAs and shattered glass with his voice.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1-aix3CqCc]YouTube - Nitro- Freight Train (Music Video)[/ame]

Total parody, pulled off very well. The quadruple necked guitar was done only in response to Steve Vai's heart-shaped triple-necked idiocy that he sported in David Lee Roth's Just Like Living in Paradise video.

Metal's a part of rock... so let's talk metal vocalists.

Fuckin' MAIDEN! This thread's gone on WAY too long without the mention of Bruce Dickenson.

Russel Allen of Symphony X. If you can appreciate a good metal voice, he's the guy right now.

this 2nd video from first song spans 15 years.

Geoff Tate of Queensryche.. I still get goosebumps during the vocal intro:

Ian Anderson from Yes was pretty freeken good from back in the day....
Jon Anderson.

Ian Anderson fronted Jethro Tull. :wink2:

Ian Anderson was incredible before he ripped up his throat in the mid-80s. Back in the 70s in their heyday, there were few live acts better than Tull.

Here's one some of your grand parents rocked out to. I bet even Best Buckeye knows who Eric Burdon is. Click on and check out the voice.
