Morrison's final few years were a travesty. The Doors at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970? Sucked ass! Bon Scott didn't have the range of anyone else on the list, and Geddy Lee is automatically disqualified for his shriek of "of salesmen!" at the end of The Spirit of Radio.
I'm sure other people would, but I sure as hell wouldn't. Personally, I think Janis really had a terrible voice, and her celebrity was aided by (1) dating Kris Kristofferson and using all his material and (2) dying young, which piqued interest in Pearl and made it a posthumous commercial smash (well, all of the Kristofferson written singles, anyway).Folanator;1416335; said:Do you put Janis on the list? Now, I don't hate Janis, I enjoy Bobby McGee as much as anyone else when it comes on the jukebox. I just happen to think she's terribly overrated.
