Grand Theft Auto Online - "Killer Nuts" Crew

I thought I'd do a quick 2 person mission last night with a random guy to kill time between missions with ulukinatme. It was one of the ones where you go to a car lot and blow all the cars up. Along the way we got jumped somehow. first of all....don't swerve all over the road if you know i'm in the passenger seat trying to shoot the tires of the guy chasing us. second....while i'm doing that, don't duck out of the car and run and hide, leaving me to get killed without knowing that i'm alone in the car. third.....once I'm dead and I'm stuck watching your dumb ass, don't just sit there hiding on the other side of a wall. go blow the cars up. THAT'S THE MISSION.

fuckin idiots.

We racked up some major money racing blast night.... 1.5 min for a 7, 4 and 2k payout for three people. Through the hills (or a similar name to that)

The survival on boneyard was fun. You two had a great spot by the trailer. Where else is good on that map? I ran around a few times looking for another spot and only found death.

Personally I think the trailer is the best place to go now that the roof is off limits. The shed is also still good if you have 1-2 people watching each end, and if you don't use the actual entry way as cover (Use a box 5-10 yards back and wait to ambush). For some reason if you're back behind the trailer the enemies tend to make wide approaches when attacking you, rather than hugging the trailer and making it difficult on you. They'll still approach the trailer close from time to time, but if you're smart about it and watch your map you should be fine. The only real threat when using the trailer are the choppers, as they'll occasionally get some shots in on you. Your best bet is to save them for last though, or when most enemies are clear.

We did Railyard Survival for the first time last night. It's not nearly as fun as killing Hillbillies and Rednecks, but it was challenging trying to find a good setup. I prefer ducking inside garbage bins there for cover, only the choppers can hit you. Stay away from the Sawmill Survival, if you ask me. It's not terribly difficult, but it's boring if you're using the storage shed for cover. All the enemies tend to spawn on the other side of the mill and take their sweet time getting to you.

Yeah, there are some real idiots that play this game. It gets really frustrating, which is why I've been trying to surround myself with decent players through Crew and Friend invites (They make me look better than I am haha). For the most part I haven't had to invite too many new people lately, but I'll occasionally try and grab someone from the lobby if a spot is open to see if they'd be a good fit. Holy fuck though....I invited some kid from the lobby a few days ago to a Trevor mission along with Vlixx and a decent Shag crew member. From the start of the mission the kid is begging for me to let him drive my car. When I don't let him right away (Trying to get us setup/coordinated) he starts cussing on the mic, steals a random vehicle and starts ramming my car. We should have just booted him then, but once we get to the mission he decides to try and run us over. We ended up having to restart after the coordination got fooked and a few people died, we booted his ass at that time. Kid was just level 5 and would have gotten a quick $25k for the mission for his first run, not too bright.

I got through the one mission with you guys last night & then, of course, got booted. This time it was an error with the PSN & I couldn't sign back in after trying for 15 mins or so. Such a pain in the ass......:pissed:

We struggled with connecting last night ourselves, but mostly because myself and 2 other buddies were playing in the same room on 3 different TVs. PSN would kick us off and wasn't letting more than one person connect at a time. Turns out we had to assign static IP addresses to each PS3 to make it work, it was all networking related. Even after we did that we had some struggles with the router kicking 1-2 guys for periods. Unfortunately we didn't get to pull a lot of people into missions with us as a result of the 3 of us playing. Most of the missions call for 4 people, so that only left one spot open for other crew members who we rotated in.

There used to be another good spot on the roof of one of the surrounding buildings, but Rockstar patched it so you couldn't go up there anymore, for some reason.

Inside of the barn is a good spot for the two players - you can hide behind crates on both sides. That's where I always used to set up shop before I heard about the trailer.

If we can ever get 4 people on at the same time again that seems like a good/fun/relatively quick way to make good money.

Of course, I fell asleep at 7 this evening (and just woke up briefly) because I stayed up until 11 last night playing.

I'll have to alternate nights or something moving forward. I want that 400k apartment!

So, I let BN27 take a spin in the tank, then took some pics of some of the devastation he left behind. There was a lot more than this, but he was moving quick and destroying on the move lol. He also wasted several players, and as I type this theres 4 of them staked outside his garage waiting for him to come out now that the tank was blown up (Cops)

Tank in the back here:

I tried to get more than that, but he was always out of frame by the time I could turn the camera on lol. Hopefully I can call it again and I can get some better pics this time.

As a bonus, since I only got 2 pics with the tank in it, heres some pics of a unique Rat-Rod I picked up today. Before and after pictures:

That was flipping hilarious. I'm sure I'll be wearing the dunce cap tomorrow, but it was totally worth it. I jumped on and instantly was hit with 4 or 5 guys talking back and forth and it HAD to be their first time online. The one guy asked where the air force base was. SERIOUSLY? how is that not the first place you go on here? Hey.....there's a place where you can steal a jet and blow people up.......but don't try to find it right away.

So they were being stupid for like 20 minutes when ulukinatme rolls up and saves me from a shoot out with the cops. I hop in his chrome junk mobile and he takes off....then just stops. I think to myself.....why the fuck are we here. he basically drags me into this compound where his tank is. JACKPOT. I instantly hop in and head for the morons who are all grouped together in their giant trucks talking about how cool it was that somebody stole a jet. (OH MY GOD I'VE STOLEN LIKE 80 JETS BY NOW). They're like......oh hey, a tank.

BOOM

It was on. They were bitching up a storm calling me a hacker and a terrorist and trying to call in air strikes and get me with helicopters that I would just blast out of the sky. I think I took out 4 of their personal vehicles, which did not sit well with them. Finally one of the air strike guys took me out and I spawned without a tank. Now I'm on the run. I make it back to my garage bc I had to go upstairs for like 5 mins. I come back to ulukinatme telling me they're camped outside my garage. It turns out they had littered the place with sticky mines and they had their machine guns out and ready.

So i did a lester mission which put me 20 miles on the other side of the map.

dipshits.

lol, it's much funnier when you tell it. I had no idea those guys were talking crap and what not before you started blowing them up, and then the trash they talked while you were beating up on them. I've got my chat set to only hear friends + crew, so I only heard you. The funniest part for me was heading back to your garage to see those 4 guys camped outside, just waiting for you to step out...and then you disappear on a mission

I'm assuming it's around 10 personal cars destroyed in a day will get you the Dunce Cap.

I got pissed because my chrome Coquette wouldn't show up at Mors tonight, so I blew up the 3 personal vehicles that WERE in the parking lot (none had been claimed yet, which makes it even more awesome). I casually drove away from Mors and headed back to the crib to find my shiny, brand new Coquette in my garage.

I joined into a mission to make sure I didn't get a taste of my own medicine.

I also got a few new missions (2,4,6 and 8 player missions). A couple from Lester and Trevor that were a lot of fun. Also, Martin's mission: Judging the Jury. 8 person mission. Jury members scattered throughout the city. As long as you have at least three and stay spread out, it's an easy 11,500 (23,000 for first run through) and an entertaining mission.
