Grand Theft Auto Online - "Killer Nuts" Crew

Next time you are online hit me up and we can do races or missions to earn you some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I appreciate it; I was trying to do the main story missions (and still want to do that until I get to the high paying ones) but jumping from race to race with a group is by far the faster way to make money. I'm at about $170,000 right now and my heart is set on the $400,000 apartment.

I'll try to get on this evening.

I'm in the crew and am excited to start the online play, I just feel so compelled to finish the story mode first.

Work/Wife ain't speeding up this process either... :bonk:

Look for Riley1048 (me) or Harmosis (BuckeyeTillIDie) when online. I cannot promise we won't go on a rampage session but it will be fun.

I've read that all the apartments that have garages with the same # of cars are the same...aka the 200k apartment with a 10 car garage is exactly the same as the 400k apartment with a 10 car garage except for the view out of your window (and the map location obviously). That was definitely something they dont advertise but is worth considering

Yeah, you're just paying for views/location when it comes to the high-end apartments. I'm more than satisfied with 3 Alta - three nearby mod shops, train tunnel, two heli locations, 10 car garage, and it is central located where most of the action is taking place in free roam. $223k was the price.

I wish you could buy at least one more garage. It would be nice to have one in Blaine County so you could have car storage on both ends of the map.

I am quite partial to the 240k apartment with a 10 car garage tight near the high rises in the middle of the map. Good location great view and a lot cheaper.

Of course I made about 0.7 million selling the same 45k car every 24 virtual hours. They patched that in the last update.

'GTA V for PC' torrent scam hits gamers as Online 'stimulus package' rolls out

Downloaders taken in by fake file that distributed malware, but legit players are to receive $500,000 in-game cash this week

Meanwhile, GTA Online is still undergoing tweaks as Rockstar continues to balance the twitchy economy. Late last week a new patch updated various issues with the troubled multiplayer mode, but also halved the amount gamers could make from repeat missions. According to GameSpot, the publisher explained he decision thus: "We understand players do like to enjoy a mission multiple times, so rather than remove the possibility of doing so, we've allowed replays of these missions at a reduced payout. Many players can get very good at a mission and beat it much faster in consecutive tries, so we've adjusted these payouts to match that case."

The problem Rockstar has is the need to gently lead gamers away from turning the mode into a grind-fest, without making it look like a way to nudge them toward micro transactions. But responses have been… mixed. Beneath the announcement on the GTA support site LocoWithGun writes: "To be honest missions are rather worthless now. Maybe I'll do the occasional Base Invaders that comes my way but that's about it. There was already a huge trouble getting anyone to join your mission ... newbies are never going to get anyone to play with them now."

On the plus side, it seems the promised "stimulus package" will arrive this week, giving GTA Online veterans a major free cash boost to the tune of $500,000. Rockstar is also preparing to launch new features, which according to its Newswire site includes a DLC package named Beach Bum pack (lots of new beach ware for characters, plus four new beach vehicles) and a content creator that allows players more breadth to design and run their own personalised death match and race events. More exciting, though, will be the launch of more in-depth Heist missions, requiring tactical co-op play. Players getting tired of pummelling through street jobs and grinding high-paying errands from Gerald will be pleased to try out something a little more complex.

I find it comical they even considered removing the possibility of redoing missions. Missions are the best thing about this game if you're playing with friends. Yeah, it's fun to grab a tank or a couple of jets and cause some devastation, or just roam around in free mode from time to time, but for me it's the coordination during a mission with buddies that makes it fun. I'm looking forward to Heists for this reason, I just hope they don't let us down completely.

Some of the mission payouts are a complete joke now. By reducing all of them by half they've actually accomplished the opposite intended effect for me. Before I would occasionally pickup some Gerald missions or Lamar missions if a request came from someone in the lobby. If it was fun, and the pay covered expenses, why not? Now there are some missions that actually pay $500-$1500. "Death Metal" used to be a quick little mission for okay pay up to Rank 20 or so, but now I wouldn't bother with it if I was starting a new character. Why do that when you receive just as much for robbing a store and don't need body armor or waste any bullets? Better yet, why do that when you can do a 30 second race for double that pay.

All of Simeon's missions are now completely worthless, if they weren't already. Gerald's are all basically worthless ($2500 for No Hay Bronco? Has Rockstar even done that mission?). Forget Lamar. Half of Lester's missions aren't worth it now. Basically theres a $5k cutoff for most missions. If a mission is less than that, I wouldn't bother doing it anymore at any level, maybe $3k at lower levels. After Rank 20 I wouldn't do anything for less than $5k personally, nothing less than $8k after Rank 45. Since the payouts were cut, theres only about 20 missions that pay more than $8k when there were nearly 40 missions before, and good luck getting them with any kind of consistency. You're basically only going to be talking to Martin and maybe Lester. Occasionally Trevor may call you for one, but you can't call him (At least I can't at Rank 92).

Of course, some of the payouts were a joke even before the reduction. Martin's "Death From Above?" No fucking way, I don't touch that one now, not for a $2500 payout. That one should have been one of his final missions for $18-$25k. Lester's "Cop Capacity" is a timed mission for $2500 now that requires you to blow up cop vehicles at 4 different locations. It's nearly impossible for 1 person, and even with two you have to alternate targets so the other person can drop their wanted level in between and get to the next location.

Heres a Google doc with payouts, RP, etc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...NNaDZHcVp6RXVtQVE&usp=drive_web&rm=full#gid=0

Why wouldn't players just race to make money? That gets boring and I suck but that is where the money is.

Also, everytime I carjack a CPU player I get a 3-9000 bounty put on me. Even if it is a mini van. Hahaha
