:pirate:I saw the score close to two points and thought to myself that they could at least take away that they never gave up. When they went ahead, I was in shock. Notre Dame completely lost their composure.

Notre Dame fans can take away that their's was not the meltdown of the day...that honor belongs to Washington State, who pirated their way to loss giving up18 points in the last four minutes of the meaningless New Mexico Bowl against the Rams.

At least Notre Dame has that...or not :pirate::yay2:

I admit... after Grant hit that three and they went to commercial... I said screw it and changed the channel
but then I thought.. oh well, might as well suffer thru the pain and watch the rest of this agony,, they're still my Buckeyes...
(I mean... very little could be more painful than having Domers end your undefeated season on natl TV)
so I switched back before game resumed... and was stunned and ecstatic for the next few minutes
Now I can gloat that I saw one of the most amazing comebacks I have ever witnessed

I was so tempted to turn off the TV when we went down by 8. So happy I stuck around to watch that. Very improbable come back. But, as others have said, lots of teams are going to play us zone and dare us to shoot from outside...I wonder if Matta has talked with Tressel about winning with mostly just defense. LOL. :)

Well that would be hooking and the foul on Craft was a damn cross check. both of those would have been 2 minutes in hockey.

The reffing was weird last night. They would call the ticky-tack crap on both teams and then let a rugby match break out towards the end.
