Scoonie Penn and the boys against St Johns in 1999 or 2000. I think it was a 10-0 run in the last minute.

Edit: Apparently a ten point deficit with 2:49 left. Interestingly, also at Madison Square Gardens.

I'm gonna be honest here: I turned the channel out of frustration when they were down 8 with a minute left and Notre Dame had the ball. I just found out they won when I checked twitter and was shocked. I don't deserve to celebrate this one with a dancing banana but here it goes anyway :groove:

That's the one I was thinking of too. That was a really good St Johns team, Ron Artest, I think Erick Barkley was the point and some other good college players. Wasn't that one also at the Garden? I know OSU met them in the Tourney the final 4 year but I think the comeback was a regular season game.

Artest was gone, but correct on all other counts!

Anyone screen cap the score as they cut away to the volleyball? I switched channels so it's already off my DVR stream now, but I caught the highlight on another channel and ESPN's last graphic with the score had a line of "Notre Dame (9-3) Ohio State (11-1)" above the graphic.

Somebody in the truck got a head start on putting that together.
