Awful officiating and god awful announcing. Reminded me a bit of the fiesta bowl where they wouldn't show the plays and wouldn't talk about the game. Some more quality character assassination from ESPiN on our program. What happened at USC is completely different, no matter how many times ESPiN says otherwise.

Special teams was the real killer today, but in all honesty, these were two bad teams that had no business playing in a bowl game. Thank you Gene Smith for giving us this game - please exit stage door right.

Lastly, if you are Neal or Caleb and you want playing time your freshman year - this is the place for you.

Silver lining..

Nobody is beating that 114 year streak between 7 loss seasons anytime in any of our lifetimes.

I'd rather that streak still be intact.

D played well all in all. Missed tackles and what not are just a matter of them not having the talent we are used too.

Props to Nathan for sure ... as for the rest (and by rest I mean every single player and coach), I'm confident Coach Meyer will remind the them what it takes to be a Buckeye, as it seems they may have memory problems.

Good point. This is just one example of how the coaches lost the team this year. The penalties, inability of the D to stop UF on 3rd down, and piss poor special teams play reflect poorly on the team's discipline and ability of the coaching staff to get the players to focus. This season has been about wasted talent and a failure to get the players to focus and put them in a position to succeed. Bring on the Urban era.
