On a final note and then I'll let it rest.

Posey didn't even try on that onside. At least lay the dude out and try to cause a fumble.

Thank God this season is over. Worst one I can remember. I don't even remember feeling like this after the Cooper Bowl against South Carolina.

Looking forward to April.

Urban is coming like a Hurricane starting tomorrow.

Thank you seniors (most of you). And thank you coaches (most of you).

Sums it it all up for me. If you look at the stat sheet, I would have guessed the Bucks would have won the game. But the mistakes on special teams among others screwed their chances today. I think the team as a whole was just mentally drained from all of the distractions and it reared it's ugly head on the field in many of the games this year.

Looking forward to next year but I am tempering my expectations and just want a solid 2012 to build on. :oh:

The fact that Joe Bauserman was ever the STARTER speaks to the offensive coaches this season (and seasons past really).

I'm grateful to Luke for all that he did and I'm ecstatic that he's being kept on, but he obviously was hands off, at least to start, with the offense. Theses coaches, without Tress to bail them out, showed their true colors this season and they weren't pretty. Bollman has been a scapegoat in the past, but this season, offensively, is squarely on his shoulders. A middle school coach could have drawn up those game plans.

Pathetic.

First losing season since 1988.

First four-game losing streak since 1943.

First seven-loss season since 1897.

Florida committed three turnovers, had three personal fouls on defense, and had a 22-yard punt that didn't cross midfield ... and the Buckeyes' offense managed to score only 10 points prior to the garbage time TD.

Defense was okay. However, Florida was converting 30.61% of its third downs on the year (112th in D-I), and the Buckeyes' defense allowed them to convert 6 of 12. This hurt, especially in the first half.

Special teams gave up two touchdowns. Game over.

The Urban Meyer era has officially begun.

If this college football season has given me anything to walk away from it with, it has to be a heavy dose of humility. Thank you to the players that tried so hard every week and gave 100% each and every play. Thank you to Coach Luke Fickell for also giving 100% effort despite the incredibly raw deal he was left with. Next year will be very different, and we can continue to look forward to that. But this will truly be one of the years that I will never ever forget. Stay true, and Go Bucks.

What pisses me off is that we had an obvious scoop and score opportunity taken away from us because of the refs early on in the game, and then Florida's first TD was a dropped pass. So then when it was 7-0 Florida it actually should have been 7-0 or 7-3 Ohio State if the officials had not made obvious errors. Then after that the review a fumble in which is was pretty clear to me that Boom's ass was down before he lost the ball, but they call it a fumble. Changed the whole feel of the game.

Next year will be interesting. Hopefully this team is able to take some big strides in the right direction.

And it blows that the B1G just laid a big freaking egg in these 4 games this afternoon. Gross.

Dissapointing performance today on both ends. Defense continued to miss tackles and overpursue a lot of plays, eventhough they didn't give up a whole lot of yards or points.

Special teams was awful.

Offensively not creative and once they got behind Florida only had to defend one thing.

Get moving on to 2012.

QUICKLY.
