Seniors should have been leading the team over to the band. It's not like it's a new thing. Why would they even need to be told?

[Mark May], I took for granted that this still went on after games win or lose. Where were the coaches? Where were the leaders? Where was the team MVP?? Where did I read or hear that a player was being spoken to by a media member after a game and another player came up and said "Coach said we don't do anything until we sing..."

Good bye and good luck to this group of "leaders."

Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya as my old man used to say.

I remember thinking it was a mistake at the beginning of the year when Fickell said there wouldn't be permanent captains. Given the lack of leadership this season, I continue to think this was one of Luke's biggest mistakes, especially considering as a first time coach, he needed some help in the way of team leaders.

WAAAAAAAAAH

We only won 6 games this games this year after winning 66 games and 5 conference championships in the last 6 years.

WAAAAAAAAAH

I'd probably be too embarrassed after going 6-7, losing to Michigan, and limping through a bowl game to be whining to some random fan about it not be "fun" anymore.

Not whining and not some "random fan", not even close. But don't let that stop you from taking something completely out of context. FWIW whether this particular player plays next year is largely out of his hands.

Where were they...probably the same place they were most of the year....MIA

Told to me by a player after the game that may or may not be playing for the Bucks next year: "It's just not fun anymore." I think that about sums up this season.

I was extremely disappointed in the team for not going going over to the band for Carmen Ohio after the game. I did not notice Williams staying on the field. Some came back in the tunnel but none went over to the band. Sums up the season even more.

New era starts tomorrow; I can't wait.

Can't blame anyone for being frustrated, this team went through a lot and will return next year with a new attitude, a new set of coaches, and a promising future. Go Bucks in 2012!

what do you expect them to say after a bowl loss? I'm sure most are saying FML after this. They just need time to cool off and move on, its just emotion right now.

These are young men on their way to being fathers/professionals/etc.

If they haven't learned to adapt to circumstances and deal with adversity when it comes to easy stuff like this, just wait until their wife or girlfriend is in labor and the baby is stuck or something else important.

This group (including Pryor) was mentally weak. They enjoyed themselves and took the easy way out when the choices were there to be made.

Twitter says Williams and Shazier were the only two to stick around for Carmen Ohio. the other 99% couldn't give two shits apparently.

Those who actually pay attention to the words of Carmen Ohio and take them to heart will know that there is no more important time to sing that song than after a loss.

It's probably for the best not to linger on this, but the band doesn't typically play Carmen on road losses, just wins.

But I am disappointed that they didn't follow once it was started, win or loss.

this wasn't really a road game though

I understand in opposing stadiums, but it's a "neutral" site game

Bitch bitch bitch. You had more fans there...

Great showing by the Buckeyes, in all seriousness. Lots of S&G to be seen.

Way to run home to your computer, miss the point entirely, and take a potshot, Ubet. Well done. :roll1:
