Henne put up 300 yards on us, but only two TDs. Good luck doing better than him. Rave all you want about how his mobility will freeze all of our pass coverage options, but he's not going to pass better as a sometimes shaky QB with very shaky WRs... vs. a very solid QB with the same caliber of OL and much much better WRs.

And about 100 of those came on two bombs to Edwards when Fox was on him (Dustin looked lost that game for some reason). Henne otherwise couldn't complete anything over 8-10 yards all game.

vs. the half dozen bombs where edwards was defending youboty from making the INT practically every time.

The past 2 years no running QB who can't throw has beat OSU. Drew Tate was able to do both well against us last year. If Young can't hit his receivers he is going to get punished.
This is not a dig on tOSU at all b/c I didn't watch the game, but how did Wisconsin beat you guys? Just from quickly scanning the box score it did not look like they had much success through the air.

zero offense. zwick and ross were just plain awful. Couple of 3rd down stops were nullified by pass interference calls, one which was total bull. Both led to scores I believe.

the defense was on the field the entire game. They wore us out by the second half.

Lack of offense in that game was the reason we lost. It had little to do with Wiscy's offense. Other than that little bastard that ran for 140 on us.

Not to mention the bogus fumble call on our punt return which gave Wisconsin the ball at our 17...Holmes was on the ground before the ball came out.

Wisky had two bogus fumbles (I had forgotten about the holmes one)... at halftime it was still fairly close. I think it was Wisky's first possession, we forced a fumble and recovered it. They used instant replay and came back with this reply (paraphrased):
"replay shows it was a fumble; but an inadvertent whistle ended the play before the fumble happened."
(after that the big ten refs waited a few extra seconds before blowing the whistle on a potential turnover to avoid this mistake)

That would have given us the ball and at least a FG, if not a score. That was a huge swing in terms of momentum when them blowing it dead too early nullified a turnover.

Yeah I remember hearing people going crazy outside the stadium after that "early whistle". Everyone inside the stadium was in the dark because they never showed the replay. But judging from the reaction from everyone outside you could tell it was a terrible call, and everyone let the refs hear about it.

That was a terrible call. It almost seemed like the refs were trying to incite a riot by announcing that they had screwed the call up, but that they couldn't change it. I don't know that it would have made much of a difference even if they had changed it.

UT fans, how much playing time is Jamaal Charles expected to get this week against UL-L? Mostly just mop-up duty?

we are coming in for the big weekend, and have been unsuccessful so far in getting tickets through normal channels. If there is anyone that is willing to sell their tickets, please email me at [email protected].

I am looking for 3-4. I don't want to miss the biggest game of the year!!
realize you and about 50-100,000 others (from both sides) are doing the same thing... if not more (at least in terms of trying to buy some). hopefully you find what you're looking for, but be prepared to give away your life savings.
