I don't think that we will be going anywhere. Remember that 1.) there is at least a chance of us winning

2.) there is a least a chance of a bowl game

3.) At the very least we get to do this whole thing again next sept in austin.

we will be here for a while. I wouldn't get to worried. Oh yeah and by the way, Congrats to the National Champion Texas Longhorn Baseball Team

First off Congrats on the baseball team and the National Championship. A very enjoyable CWS to watch this year on TV.

The one good thing about the return trip next year. Constant interest between the two teams. Also with how the BCS plays out after this game we will be the two biggest fans of each others programs to help strength of schedule and to sway voters. Always better to have said we were the only team to beat Texas this year as they beat Oklahoma and win the Big 12 to finish 11-1, versus we beat Texas who went 8-3 losing to Oklahoma again and some other team. Also Texas wouldn't mind saying at the end of the year their only lost was to #1 Ohio State in trying to get a rematch in the Rose Bowl. (ok, ok, and maybe vice versa)

just another though on the presence of mulitple texas fans on this board. I am sure this is obvious to most, but I always find it to be more entertaining to engage in talks with the opponent. I know plenty of people that talk texas sports everyday. I do not, however, have regular acess (other than the internet) to most of our opponents oppinions. Aggy and ou are really the only exceptions and i don't post on their boards with any regularity.

It's a wise man that limits the amount of abuse he subjects himself to.

And congrats on CWS championship #6!

Apparently a number of Longhorns are in trouble with eligibility.

Mike Williams was not their starter but their best pass rusher apparently. He is reported to be gone from the team in the fall. They also are apparently very thin at DE now.

Killebrew, an early favorite to start at WLB, may be in trouble academically as well.

There was also an OL that was not mentioned by name, but they think they can survive losing him (not even sure whether he started).

Mike williams showed tremendous upside when he actually played, but that was two years ago, it would be nice to have him but at this point not someone that we have really counted on. I hadn't heard about killebrew but that is annoying as it is one of our weekest possisions right now. Aparently we are flirting with the idea of moving a saftey to will and keeping Huff in the middle. While that would give us tremendous athletisim at the lb spots i think it hurts us on the corner. ol is not even a concern.

no aaron harris is our mlb, i should have said roaming the middle, as in free saftey

huff was going to be moved to corner if everything went as planed

however since our secondary is much deeper than our linebacking corp we can afford to shuffle things more out there

Gotcha... any word on whether you are bringing extra cheerleaders up for a state exchange program? I'm sure a number of OSU students would gladly give up their texas ticket if the girls stayed with them over the weekend :)

the only girls that i knew that were cheerleaders (or pom for that matter) have either graduated or just stopped. That being said i am sure that there will be at least on or two with my group. There was about 20 of us at the rose bowl and its looking like about the same group for the tenth.
