yeah I hate to break the news but Ginn is the fastest in College football... some kids might be able to keep up for 40 yards but when you're dealing with a kid who's use to running 100 yards all spring you're definatly dealing with a different type of speed.... I hope you think one of your recievers is JUST as fast.

It looks exactly like a football stadium ought to look, imho -- if you happen to have the best one in the Country.
What a great line. I've seen a couple other Big Ten football stadiums (Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State) in person, but I thought none of them ever held a candle to Ohio Stadium. There's a very good chance that I believe Ohio Stadium is the best simply because I'm biased. But it's still pretty cool to know that a fan of another team shares this feeling.

i think that you will find that anyone being honest with themself will list the shoe in his top 5 even without ever seeing it. Even if for no other reason the size alone warrents such a ranking. Others that I have been to that impressed me were in Feyettville, Boulder, Baton Rouge, and the rose bowl(if only for the mountains)

I have pooled all of my computing skills together with my buckeye knowledge and produced this sneak peek into September the 10th.

In the top left you will notice the longhorn fan who got confused as to how to exit the stadium. He noticed everyone else running onto the field and so he went with the crowd.

that suprises me, i normally associate rushing the field with baskettball or mid to low teir teams and upsets. do you rip down goal posts as well? i guess as long as you save it for mich i understand, but if i ever saw it agians iowa or wisky then i think i would lose a level of respect. you should expect to win those games.

It's not something that happens all of the time... but we might do it more than some schools... The 02 scUM win was finally getting the monkey off of our back from teh cooper years and not having a title run spoiled by the Wolvies...

And not only was 04 a big upset, but it was in the face of all of the troubled times with Clarett and bball... so it was a huge victory for the team in that sense. It wasn't like the whole crowd rushed the field tho... Santonio ran to center field, put his helmet down, and started the celebration. A couple thousand ran to him, and rather slowly thousands more followed suit.

I don't know that if we beat texas by 10-14 we will be rushing the field. Something tells me if there are late game heroics to seal a win for the buckeyes, the field will be filled.

I always loved the 96 Indiana game, AT indiana where we won and clinched the title and we had so many buckeyes in the stands that we rushed THEIR FIELD and tore down THEIR goal posts... I was like 13 and actually managed to get down to the locker room and had almost half the team sign my hat...

you can try to tear down the goal posts if you want. you gotta get through about 30 pepper spraying cops.

somebody got the field rushing picture from scum 02?

Here's a link to a pic of folks on the goal posts after the 2002 scUM win. It allows a click for a close-up. Use the link if this gets the old red x:

Most states do not define their year based on one game. A season is worthwhile or worthless based on that game. A mediocre 8-4 season with all sorts of embarrassing headlines is considered a success thanks to a big win against TSUN. All of our top-10 finishes in past years mean nothing because we lost to scUM... the year we won the rose bowl was redeemed a little bit.

It is not as much about being on the field as it is celebrating with the team... I think that's a large part of the reason fans rusn the field.

Here is the photo of how they protected the goalposts against scUM last year:
