Get an amp or check the connections to make sure there isnt any outdated coax. My house had 30 yr old coax so insight replaced it for me and it helped my hd reception as well as my RR stability. I call it stealing... You are using a service you arent paying for. Its not like you dont know and your acknowledgement of having the service makes you morally responsible for it. plus we had a amp on it before and it was too powerfull and made the picture bad, this however was before ABC looked bad, however its not like all of the channels are like this, just ABC and at time TBS, but about the cable, you think putting in a newer cable will help
