this may be hard for you to believe or understand but i'll explain this as best as possible i can, when we moved into our house we ordered americast cable(sp?) about 5 years ago, then we found out that insight cable was already running into the house free(we hadn't ordered it!) so as soon as we figured this out we cancelled americast and now we just use the "free" cable were getting, i don't know if insight forgot to turn the cable off or if its a error in their system, but after telling you that calling insight would not be the choice, but my grandma who lives about 4 miles down the road has insight and ABC is totally clear, we also have this problem with TBS at times, btw this problem with ABC started like 2 or 3 years ago out of nowhere

If you've got a half-decent antenna, you should be able to pull a better ABC picture than the free-cable version you're getting without a box.

the reason i really hate this is because i tape the games(so i can go and look back on great games) and i hate to watch a great game with a shitty picture, you must know how i felt have to watch the 2002 OSU-Miami National Championship Game with a grainy picture, of course this doesn't matter now that i have the DVD of the game

Probably just got bad signal loss on your cable, Need to run a new drop, or even just add an amp. It wouldnt be ABC's fault. I get the ABC HD on antenna, watchin it right now.
