harvdog, from your first post to your last you have been doing nothing but flaming, the sole purpose of my post was to prove that henne thought the same as you and was wrong.

now ill sit here and wait, hopefully you'll shut up and leave for a day or two, but most likely you'll be back with a smart ass comment.

im here to talk about the game, not get in a fight with an ignorant flamer like yourself

I think that any fan is going to think that their team is going to win. [extreme sarcasm]What is funny is watching all the tosu fans get their panties in a wad because you have posters from Texas that think they actaully have a chance to come to the "hollowed Grounds in Columbus" and beat a far superior team.[/extreme sarcasm] The shoe is another stadium in this country. We still have to play the game. It should be a great game. But if you guys really think that are going to roll over because we are playing in the shoe, then you are in for a big surprise. And BTW, the last time I checked, Mack won his last big game against your arch rivals. The games against OU have nothing to do with tosu.

And, of course, you remember that you won in the last seconds by the margin of a pubic hair and, a little more than a month before in TSUN's last regular season game, we opened a cannowhoopass like we have rarely witnessed in The Game.

Are you really suggesting that the performance of Texas against TSUN really compares to the performance of Ohio State against them? :frown2:

ohh god not another one....

where the hell did you get BRAYLON edwards from?

you are a complete moron, chad henne said that he didnt think the atmosphere in the shoe would affect him and be that hard to play through, and he was dead wrong and everyone knows that, except you because you are ill informed.

Yep. Do a little Google check and see what Henne said about how wrong he was about playing in the 'Shoe. Don't take it from us, take it from him!

If that was your purpose then you should have said that. Because I have a difference of opinion it does not make me ignorant. I can see that you are a very understanding person. But, I just read your profile and now I understand. It is tough being in High School. There is a ton of pressure and angst.

Obviously home field is a factor in this game, especially at night. The Vegas line that I saw on this game was a pick 'em, so it seems that bettors nationwide like Texas as a team a little better than the Buckeyes. If this game was at UT, Texas would probably be favored by 5 or so.

Not at all. It was a rivalry game for you. There is a ton of emotion. You guys played great that day and won. We played Michigan and won. That is the common point. Bottom line a W is a W.

Sorry if this has been covered, but I dont have the patience go go through all 200-odd pages of this thread, but...Why do Texas fans assume that since Vince ran all over scUM they he not have a problem with tOSU's defense? In case they are forgetting, scUM's defense SUCKS. Lets recap some of their more impressive games from last year, along with the opener against Northern Illinois shall we:

Garett Wolfe (NIU)- 148 yards
Vince Young-192 yards
Troy Smith-145 yards
Noah Herron (Northwestern)- 165 yards
Drew Stanton (MSU)- 80 yards (left at the half due to injury)
DeAndra Cobb (MSU)- 207 yards
Laurence Maroney (Minn)- 145 yards
Darius Walker (ND)- 114 yards

Their linebackers are slow and cant tackle, Bo himself said that on Saturday. The Bucks defense is in a whole different league. All you Horns expecting VY to go crazy just cause of the Rose Bowl are going to be very disappointed.

Our defense seemed better than yours against both teams we shared. Now I can understand that OK St was having some issues but the scUM team we both faced was the same. They have emotion going into The Game as well so you can't just use that as the reason why we beat them. The way I see it is that either the shoe intimidated them, our D is better, or a little of both. I think it's that third option. I also think that in this case the nature of that W is a very valid point.

Actually a rivalry game is different. Like when you go to your homecoming game this year. It makes a difference if that game is against your biggest rival or just some other team. Normally a team will get up for a big rivalry game. A prime example is UM and tosu. How do you explain UM winning all those games? tosu had way better talent. Look at all the first round picks. Cooper had something to do with it but so does the emotion of playing a rival. We lost to OU. Big deal. They had like 10 guys taken in the first 4 rounds this year. Great coach and great tradition. They won. Mack was outcoached and has been the last 5 years against Stoops. Life goes on and you go back to homeroom.
