I think that any fan is going to think that their team is going to win. [extreme sarcasm]What is funny is watching all the tosu fans get their panties in a wad because you have posters from Texas that think they actaully have a chance to come to the "hollowed Grounds in Columbus" and beat a far superior team.[/extreme sarcasm] The shoe is another stadium in this country. We still have to play the game. It should be a great game. But if you guys really think that are going to roll over because we are playing in the shoe, then you are in for a big surprise. And BTW, the last time I checked, Mack won his last big game against your arch rivals. The games against OU have nothing to do with tosu.

It has nothing to do with opinion...it has everything to do with the expression of that opinion. To use your own words, if you really think this site will just roll over while folks come in here and trash our team and University, you are sadly mistaken friend.

wow, that wasnt a good first post, harvdog, especially the last part which made no sense at all. dont underestimate 106,000 fans wearing the scarlet and grey.

and the oklahoma game does have something to do with osu, it shows that mack brown isnt a good big game coach.

So now you are giving out grades based on posts? Lovely. My point is this. We play big games every year. When you are Texas, tosu, FSU, USC you are everyones big game. Everyone wants to beat you. That happens when you are good. That being said, you have 2 teams that have pretty much seen it all, big games that is. Granted, we played like ass in 2 of the last 5 RRS. The reason we lost to OU was they were better. But, we did win a BCS bowl a few months ago. We play infront of a packed house every week. tosu does too. I appreciate that you think that the shoe is going to intimidate us but it is not. We could play infront of 106,000 or 16,000 and we will bring our A game. I for 1 cannot wait to watch the game. And, I cannot wait for all my friends from C-bus to come to Austin next year and enjoy a good tailgate, a few beers, and watch 2 great programs go at it in Austin. This is what college football is all about.

I haven't seen anyone trash your team or university. I have read a few differences in opinion. I for one love going to C-bus. If there is a better burger than Thurman's Cafe, show it to me.

Shipley should be able to play, but I'm not sure what his size has to do with anything. He is not big. Sweed is our big WR at 6-5, but did not have a great game Saturday with a drop and a fall account for two of Vinces incompletes. Taylor, Jones and Carter did well except for Carter's mistake that led to the INT.

My prior point was that we have talent at WR, and just because you have not seen them play yet, does not mean they aren't good, or that they won't eventually be drafted higher than the Miami WRs.

Texas' main advantages over Miami in the passing game is the threat of the running game, the use of all the eligible receivers all the time, and an OL that can pass block all day.

You've also only registered today. The two guys banned were crossing the lines of normal trashtalking.

However, your points are noted...but not everyone can keep a level-head while debating.

That is where mods come into play.

Anyway, back to the game.

Once again, if you back out the OU debacles Mack is 2-8 vs teams who finish the year in the AP top 10 during his tenure in Austin. With OU he's 2-13.

Either way you want to look at it he has a terrible record vs teams with equal talent.
