You're overrating your speed and defense. The Texas defense is just as fast, if not moreso, and just as good. Texas' defensive line is much better than Ohio State's. Your linebackers are better. I'll take our secondary over yours.

I was enjoying your posts until I saw this mess. Support your team, but at least be realistic. I'll give you D-line for now...but maybe not by season's end. LBs are no contest...and no contest in the Secondary either. Overall team speed goes to tOSU as well.

As for ways for tOSU to lose, of course not containing Young is the most predictable way. However, if Texas can dominate up front and stuff the run from C Gap to C gap, that will cause major issues. The way to attack a fast defense is up the gut...so tOSU must establish the inside out presence.

What worries me most about the Texas offense is the broken play. VY is creative in space...but tOSU tackle well and pursues well. If the pursuit angles and rush lanes stay disciplined, hopefully VY will be forced to move laterally while the dogs close in.

The teams are about an even match talent-wise...so I see the old rules of football shaking out this result. Turnovers and special teams will decide the game.

With that in mind, I see tOSU 20-17.

I heard your fans were unruly hooligans and drunkards but throwing beer cans?? I understand that you guys are a bit like the pigs in FayetteNam with regards to how you treat visitors. Please demonstrate a modicum of class....or try...just try, I suppose that's all we can ask. I'll have my wife with me for gods sakes and she's not used to your brand of thuggery

So you guys are bringing BEVO after all.

The depth chart also has Schlegel or Hoobler, but my guess is that it's just a mistake. That was the case with the first depth chart from the ohiostatebuckeyes.com. The spread can be played with a pocket passer, a la Texas Tech, though most people agree that a running quarterback is more often what you see, and definitely gives the team more options.

I was much happier getting the freshman in versus having a shutout. I could care less about the media and trying to run up a big shutout to get recognition. Recognition won't beat Texas, but experienced players will. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Also we played a better opponent than Texas so I can't really compare the outcomes.

5 days.....

Also, if Texas scores it won't feel like the world caved in because we gave away our first score. John Cooper ran up some pretty big preseason scores just like Mack, and he also couldn't win the big ones!

Accusing Texas of playing a bad opponent is one thing. Accusing Texas of running up the score is assinine. The starters were out by the second drive of the second half. Texas attempted two passes in the second half of the game, even though the backup quarterback needs a lot of work. By the fourth quarter, we were playing guys not on the four-deep, including a walk-on quarterback. Say whatever you want about ULaLa. Texas beat them exactly like an elite team should beat a bad opponent.

A team of that calibre shouldn't have been scheduled in the first place. Period.

Do not use your infamiliarity with Texas' secondary to make comparisons. Texas has two legitimate All American candidates in Michael Huff and Cedric Griffin. Huff, in fact, may be the fastest player on the field, Ted Ginn Jr. included. I'm not saying he definitely is, but anyone who has run a 10.1 100 is in the discussion.

What a magnanimous gesture to give me the defensive line, what with our two future first-round draft picks in Rod Wright and Frank Okam. I appreciate it. That's like me saying your linebackers are better for now.

BTW, I also picked OSU 20-17.

I did not use any infamiliarity at all...I know what tOSU is stocked with, so your potential AA's do not impress me.

BTW, hope you enjoy your red rubies as well. Learn to discuss without being a dick.

And you see, it's all about getting the W when it counts. I could care less if we beat everyone by 30 points or 3 points. You get a check in that W column and you go play next week. You play your rival and get the W...anything less than that is inexcusable...the fact is you MUST beat your rival. Coop never understood that and JT does and look at the difference

wow i missed alot, obviously some texas fans have shown up that know nothing at all about college football, our linebackers kills your linebackers, our secondary kills your secondary, get over it. our team speed is much greater than yours, get over it. the horseshoe is far superior than arkansas stadium(thats an understatement) vince young couldnt hit a barn with a football.

ohio state wont lose this game.

I wouldnt say that...yet, but I would say that this new group does not possess the same communication skills as our already establish group of Longhorns.

Its cool though, one is already banned for trolling and the others will discuss with reason or follow.
