look, the use of the word "stupid" was probably overboard, my bad. I still stand by my original post. I realize some view it as heresy to ever disagree with any mocking of Carr, I guess I'm not one of those people. I was moreso responding to the posts after yours, LR.

Michigan sucks. I don't care about Carr. He and Mack Brown should have had a battle of wits to determine last year's Rose Bowl, that would have been thrilling.

I appreciate the fact that Michigan coughed up the Rose Bowl so that we could use their sorry asses as a springboard for this season. We may not have won by much, but that does not matter to me in the least bit. Way to represent the Big Ten in the Rose Bowl. How could you guys let a non Pac 10/Big 10 team come in there and take the win?

On another note, I read that interview with Hawk, and since he sounds like a good guy, some of the Longhorn females have decided that maybe he is really just a teddy bear on the inside, and have decided he might not scare them away from Columubs come September 10th.

Anyway... I dunno about all this in their head crap...

I think you can only blame the coaches-- ie coaching- for two of those games... in '01, Michigan did not come ready to play... Sucked in the first half, never recovered...blame Carr In '03... we didn't come ready to play... sucked in the first half... never recoverd... blame Tressel... (A lot of people second guess the QB's/Playcalling in that game... but actually tackling Perry/ Covering Edwards would have been a better start.)

In '02, we just had a better team than they did... still close...

In '04... well.. their back 7 had more holes than a broken seive... and we saw that again against Texas. (btw, Texas fans.. this in no way has anything to do with the upcoming game... )

As far as outcoaching... I mean, yeah I haven't seen Carr outcaoch Tressel... Carr, for whatever reason hasn't shown me the ability to deviate from his original gameplan/make adjustments... and the Gameplans he employs doesn't change much from week to week... that's his problem... obstinance... Its no accident Ohio State shut down everyone but Edwars last year... that was the plan... turn off everyone else... make Braylon do it on his own... Lloyd's plan's seem to be well... don't let any one beat you... well... that usually get you a lot of different people beating you. The guy kept punting to Ginn... I don't know if that's Tressel in his head, or just plain stupidity.. I'm leaning toward the latter.

Now that I've helped run us off topic... might as well embrace the diversion.

They really should have been a four loss team last year, that was a remarkably lucky bounce on that onside kick against MSU. Not to mention the fact that Stanton owned them in the first half, and even his backup in the second half was directing an offense that scUM just couldn't stop. They had no business winning that game. Michigan was lucky they didn't have to play wisky last year too. Think about what's going to happen to that poor defense this year: Basanez & Tate can move, Smith and Stanton can fly, and Minny & PSU could give em trouble too.
