Game Thread Game Two: #1 Ohio State 24, #2 Texas 7 (9/9/06)

I have a little story.

Last night, my father-in-law stopped at our house to visit with our kids and have dinner. Let me start by saying that he KNOWS that the sun rises and sets around Buckeye Football in my house.

Anyway, while discussing Saturday's victory, he told me about his old buddy. In passing, as if it was no big deal, he mentioned that his best friend from college is the head of some Architecture Department at the University of Texas.

He then went on to tell me that he just spoke with the guy a few weeks ago. When I questioned whether this old friend would have been able to get me tickets to the game, he responded, "Well yes, had I thought of it, he could have gotten you all you wanted."

I then bashed him in the head with a shovel and buried him in my back yard.

Can we give Great Post Awards for murder confessions?

Well I should hope so.
