If Tress is really worried about thet heat, he can always turn on the heaters in the WHAC indoor field and have them suffer in there.
But seeing as it will probably be about 90-95, I think they'll survive.

It is a true story, but the filmmakers did change somethings around. For example, there's nothing in the book about the players staying in a beach mansion in Malibu, and then foiling a plot by terrorists to explode a chemical weapon in Los Angeles.

True, but the Texas players have been training day and night under these conditions...well, actually, they've been practicing in an air-conditioned bubble. But UT's been staging scrimmages under brutal day conditions...well, actually, the last one kicked off at 7:30 a.m. to beat the heat, oh well, never mind.
