Game Thread Game Two: #1 Ohio State 24, #2 Texas 7 (9/9/06)

I wouldn't say he can maniuplate them in any way.....if he got away with it then I would say that. But every time he pulls some BS stat out of his ass, he gets called on it (and ignores it).

By my figures, he averages the creation of 4.1 made-up stats a day. 72.5% of them are used as proof that Texas is synonymous with "Football champions" (and all other football teams are only trying to beat Texas so that THEY can move into Austin and then BECOME Texas). Of the 27.5% remaining, 90% is him just slam-dunking his calculator, his phone, or his mouse into the keyboard, and see what numbers pop out, and the remaining 10% is him trying to sound smart, but no one really caring.

98% of the people on the internet know that, though.

Ignores what? It was your stat people that credited you with 0 pressures, I didn't make that up. I think you should have had two, when Vince was in the grasp while throwing the INT, and for Pittcock's rush during the Witner sack. I guess your scorekeepers where too busy documenting the more obvious stats.

I never intended the best of the best post to reflect on the likely result of our upcoming game. It is more a historical curiosity. I feel that the overall winning percentage and all time head to head records are a better measure, but threw in scoreboard and total wins to recognize recent success and teams having the balls to play the best, respectively.

Hilarious... once again xray's stats are all that exist in his world. When someone reminds him of how often Vince was hit in the mouth, it's not his fault b/c he cannot think outside of numbers. If you knew the stats are bogus, why do you use them in arguments?

This is that "ignoring" thing I was talking about.
