Game Thread Game Two: #1 Ohio State 24, #2 Texas 7 (9/9/06)

actually, you took offense to the following quotation... which proved to be true. When the misleading quote was explained, you somehow thought an average ranking of #11 meant OSU wasn't the best. Here was what started it... it had nothing to do with UT.
So OSU was #1 against the run in 2005, 2004, 2003, and 2002??? Hard to believe you guys were #1 against the run in 2004 when you went 8-4.

All I was doing was disputing whether OSU was #1 or not.

All you are doing is trying to kick sand in a Longhorn's face and looking all tough even though you still haven't proved that I ever said above that UT had a better run defense than OSU.

Look tough? What in the world are you talking about? You stated tOSU was not #1...LV proved they were after you used some superficial formula that did not represent the truth.

You were wrong. Period.

I want to say Good luck to texas in all the rest of your games.
:oh: :io:

Who has the formula to make the next 12 days seem like one? haha

Thanks...I was rooting of your guys last season and will do so again this season (sans game 2). BTW...thanks for exposing ND. I had a blast watching that game (hey...did you know AJ hawk was dating the sister of the ND QB?) as you exposed the pretenders for what they were.

If they go undefeated with this year's schedule then they deserve to play in the NC game. But they won't.

So much in this game will come down to the QBs.
Which one will step up?
Which one will struggle?
I like our guy.
He's not Vince Young.
But, he is one of the best QBs in college football. Last year and this.
If forced to make a bet.
I bet Troy Smith is the difference in Austin.

Yes we will if you meant us here. No they wont if you meant ND haha.
And I'm sure we will win the NC game too.

Actually they exposed themselves . They put those players on the field (Chuckle)
I may have even rooted for your team against USC , but Im not sure.

yes we got a full treatment of MRS. Hawk during the game. They got married about a month ago.

I think I rooted for Texas just as hard as OSU come bowl season... I gained great respect for VY & Texas after the epic matchup in the Shoe, and what kind of person didn't cheer for an upset of 'the greatest collection of humanity ever assembled'?

I just rooted for Texas to beat the spread against USC. :wink2:

Alright, alright... I rooted for Texas, I can't stand it when ESPN gets a hard on for a team. I think both Texas and Ohio State fans should take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for beating the greatest team ever and the smartest coach ever with three months to prepare (gasp!).
