Bielema is just concerned that we may be celebrating too much in the endzone because we have a more potent offense! Their "guys don't do that" and won't if our defense plays the way they have been.
Forgive me if I'm misreading you, but I think he said his guys "can't" do that, ie they don't have the athletic ability of Boone.

I may be the one misreading it.

Fellas, these kinds of games have a way of making a fool out of an expert. I'm certainly going to expect this one to be close, and will be excited if we end up winning comfortably.

Ditto. The last two times I've attened Wisconsin games at the Shoe, OSU has jumped to 17-0 leads and blown them both. One in a bloody rout on the broad back of Ron Dayne, the other in a game where the OSU offense completely disappeared for 2.5 quarters. Fortunately, I won't be in attendance at this one. :tongue2:

I never, ever take Wisconsin lightly.

May Bucky burn in hell.

EDIT - I know this is a completely different team and past results are irrelevant, I just don't trust the evil Badgers ever to be an easy opponent.

take Mili's anger and X3 for me... I can't stand this team, and I hope we annihilate them! No Hill, no Smith, no swan, and a troubled defense doesn't spell well. I'm still nervous about this one though, but I hope we roll big time like 52-0 type of big time. It won't happen but one can dream and hope right?

I want fuckin' payback for the 42-17 ass-beating they gave us in 1999. I want to beat their ass so soundly that they never think they'll have a chance at winning in The Shoe again...
And I wan to fuckin' annihilate them for breaking our winning streak in 2003.

Fixed. :!

3. 3 games isn't a large enough sample to make a definitive proclamation that Wisconsin is terrible on the road.

4.:oh::io: stadium is always very welcoming to the Badgers.

3. It is when you've only played three road games

4. Not prior to 1999 it wasn't

If 3 games isn't a large enough sample in point 3, how is it a large enough sample in point 4?

Upcoming: Ohio State vs. Wisconsin

Ohio State totally dominated against a good Penn St. team. They kept the ball close to 60% team, had 24 first downs, while holding a potent Penn St. offense to 14 first downs. They moved the ball at will. They were 12-16 on 3rd down and 1-1 on 4th down. When they needed to it seemed they could just hit a switch and get a first down. The Defense has been a big part of the success holding Penn State to 263 total yards while picking up a touchdown of their own. Now for Wisconsin, who also had a pretty dominating performance.

Wisconsin's offense also seemed pretty potent picking up 23 first downs, 423 total yards (279) on the ground, but they weren't very good on third downs only 5-14. I don't know how a team like Wisconsin will handle the pressure and excitement in the horseshoe. It will be like no where they've played this year. The only place that compares is Happy Valley where they got trampled 38-7. If Ohio State can contain Hill they will win, if they don't and let him run for over 100 yards it will be a close game.

My final prediction is that Ohio States defense steps up and doesn't let Hill run the ball, or Donovan throw the ball. Hill will pick up close to 85 yards, and Jenkins, along with the rest of the secondary, will shut down the passing game. They will score once. Final 35-7 in Ohio States favor.:oh:
