Fuck yous to the audience tonight:

Not bringing Jon back.

Killing the wrong people in Dorne; all but Bronn's squeeze amongst the sand snakes can die soon please. (Also, I like book Doran better; he's less of an idiot. When you've got some crazy scheming ladies running around trying to start a war, locking them all in a tower seems like a no brainer. That said, I appreciate the strong message sent that their horrible attempt at executing a Dorne story is likely coming to an end soon.)

Old melisandre.

Maybe it's me, but I'm crazy bored with Arya's story in the books and the show, bring her back to Westeros already.

Speaking of that, burning the Mereen boats and saying "Dany and Tyrion aren't going back to Westeros this season" (almost literally) was a big eff you to anyone who might have been hoping for that.

I think that's it.

Yay Sansa getting on track.

Um, yay Davos and Ed for keeping the bring Jon back dream alive?

One thing that kind of pissed me off was that the show didn't actually start until 9:08 (after intro's and previously on) and it went to credits at 9:56. That gives us a grand total of 48mins, which is only 5mins longer than regular cable hour long programs. Way to go HBO.

I watch dumb sci fi in a hearbeat, and decent stuff. Like the Expanse (which is actually great), Dark Matter, Colony, and then the really dumb CW ones.

This episode felt more like one of those shows in its writing than earlier seasons. Silly comedic stuff, advancing a story but with no sense of import, etc. It just felt. . . off.

I still have high hopes. Maybe I'll watch it again.
