I think we have serious offensive issues, the biggest one being the line. But to say that they didn't try to get Ginn the ball is just stupid. If anything, GONZO needed the ball more.

For the lunacy that claims he was outcoached, that's something else. They got an INT and started at the 1, that had nothing to do with Tressel or JoePa. Take away that drive and its 10-10. The players from PSU outplayed OSU, that's what you meant to say.

Ginn didn't seem to be playing very hard today. On one of the punt returns it looked like he was walking.

I am kind of on the page wit hSgarlet on this one. I am not sure Zwick gets sacked 10 times. I think he reads and releases a lot better then Smith. I am not sure any QB would have been good tonight the way we blocked.

Good points though Grad, thanks for answering. I know you keep saying execution and I was not sure if you were talking about Smith or the OLine. I agree 100% Bollman needs to go. I think we have talent on the Oline but the schmes and coaching I have not seen much improvement in 5 years

Well how about our defense hu? 170 some total yards aloud to their dangerous offense?? Its just a shame AJ/Carpenter and everyone else has to go out not on there terms.

I usually don't like Mark May but he hit it on the head when he said that we need a offensive coordinator. Dumb, Dumb play calling and like someone stated I thought our plays were very predictable. I mean our defense always plays lights out, and it's because we can react. However, when we're on offense and we have to be the ones who attack its puts everything in the coaches hands. Get ride of Bollman for christ sake.

After watching this game a couple things are very obvious also. I thought pittman ran hard, Holmes is our best reciever. Also my final thought is one of Ted Ginn, I'm sure he plays his heart out but my god he's lost right now. I'm not so sure if we wouldn't be better off putting him on defense. Also Gonzo had ZERO catches.

For all of you pissed off bashers, I have two games for you.

Florida 3 Alabama 31
Louisville 15 USF 45Those are two elite offensive minds that run great offenses. Guess what happened to them? Yeah, they got shut down. Defense CAN do that.

If you're an elite team, you don't need tons of impact freshman. Their defense had zero impact freshman today. King had no more of an impact than Jenkins (malcolm had more of one actually).

No stereotype here. That's not a fair comment. I even said that Smith needs to be the QB because of the way that the O line seems to play against aggressive defenses.

But he isn't comfortable going through his progressions. Ohio State can't throw downfield because Troy can't hit the receiver. And you're right, he throws the ball 1,000 mph to a receiver 8 yards away. Not a good QB for this type of offense, IMO. And yes, I'm pissed that Ohio State lost.

My bad, sorry for the mix up. Smith doesnt see the field well at all, so we are lacking in that department, but I meant that he did have moments where he scanned the entire field and still did not throw the ball, it most likely was a mixture of alot of things though, like you siad.

When a coach is so conservative that they have to press at the end of the game to tie ...hes been outcoached. Tressel has been outcoached badly in two games. The players have to make plays but the coach has to put them in the best position to make plays. Its cost us twice...BCS Bowl gone...B10 title gone.

It pisses me off that this defense will not play in a BCS game...its a fucking crime. A.J. and the seniors deserve a BCS Bowl. What a waste of talent. Quit playing favorites and put the best players on the field. If a younger player is better play them. How many dropped passes is it gonna take for another TE to be used.

This team is going to the Outback or Citrus bowl and its a damn shame!!
