not sure about injury, but JT said he's done for the year
How in the hell are you questioning the coaching staff? The outcome is good. But I still question the strategy of GIVING an inferior opponent the OPPORTUNITY to come back.
You can't possibly count on multiple turnovers late in the game by a defense as a planned way to seal a game.
I am still not convinced we deploy our assets to their highest and best uses.
Having never played at this level let alone coached at ANY level I cant reasonably question anything our staff does but :) Other than the one pass that Smith missed TG on early in the game (although he does seem to have a great touch on the long ones he seems to have missed on at least 5 or more wide open deep passes during the season when the receiver got behind the D but Smith overthrew em) wouldnt it be helpful to have him air it our more often just to keep teams honest. Maybe Tress keeps tons of stuff in the playbook hidden for special times but just once at the end of the game can we air it out on 1st or 2nd down when the other team just knows we are gonna run out the clock by handing it to Pitt for a no gain when we are protecting a big lead; go for the jugular just once; it cant be worse than 3 and out when they are stacking the box. And please on short yardage inside the 5 can we just once fake a hand off and have Smith roll out and/or hit a tight end or somebody; we just seem way too predictable in the redzone. Successful yes but sometimes I would like to see a little razzle dazzle just to give the other teams something to think about down the line. These are minor quibles of course when you are 5 and 0 you must be doing something right, just my what if 2 centsBuckeyeNation27;622399; said:How in the hell are you questioning the coaching staff?
There is no way that team was going to pass the ball down the field on us and score 3 times in 6 minutes. You're insane to question the play calling in the 2nd half. It was done to perfection.

I mean, he certainly didn't have a very diverse set of offensive sets and playcalls today or anything.
i saw a guy i know sitting in the crowd. he's not an Iowa fan, but he was wearing Iowa gear. before the season, he told me he was debating whether or not to make the trip, and i told him he'd be crazy not to... (oh yeah, it's not a preposition. it's an infinitive. :p )notfadeaway;622117; said:I love seeing that stunned Iowa crowd....all those long fat faces
