Last time I checked, I don't know of any leech species that can survive 50 degree cold water. Which is why they all live in warm, stagnant pools like swamps...

But since they're Michigan students, they probably didn't know that anyway.

After spending an hour and a half driving to work because Rt 90 is closed due to a 40car wreck(yes FOURTY)...Im cold, wet, tired, bored, and EXCITED to announce...Michigan sucks.

To tell you the truth I think the wreck was caused by a UM bumper sticker...guy behind him rear ended him, and while stopped...38 other cars took their shots while they had them.

Columbus, OH (AP) - A seven year old boy was at the center of a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Franklin</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName>County</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.<o:p></o:p>

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references
and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the <st1:place><st1:PlaceType>University</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName>Michigan Wolverines</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone ......<o:p></o:p>

OH!

So there was this doctor's office here in Marion who last year taped their Michigan-fan coworker to a flagpole on busy Delaware Avenue on Game Friday.

We are thinking of doing the same, except with our new press guy, who just told us he's a Michigan fan.

(He has not worn a shred of Michigan clothes yet tho...)

If we do, I'll be sure to post pictures.
