On offense we are middle of the road statisticlly...but we were dead last after the Penn State game...so that says a lot about how hot the offense is now. Typical Tressel team...A LOT better at the end of the year than at the begining of the year. And I think that's awesome! I love what Tressel has done with this team and I love that we play our best game against Michigan. I'm so ready for this. We are pumped.
Did you see how hard our O-line played this week? They are ready for Michigan. Our O-line is going to manhandle the overrated Michigan d-line. We are going to keep hitting their defense so hard that their defense will eventually just wear out. Our defense will be the key though.
The defense is playing so hard right now. We can stop the best passing attacks in the country, we can stop the best running teams in the country. What in the world are we going to do against a team that can't do either very well? Henne sucks...he's nothing without Edwards. Injuries have plauged Michgan's running game this year. They are not the typical rushing team Michigan usually has.
Our THREE senior linebackers are going to have the games of their lives. There is NO WAY Michigan is running the ball against us. And Henne is going to be so frustrated with the pressure he'll be under, he's going to throw quite a few picks. The weasel fans are going to get so frustrated in this game. I imagine after the 4th or 5th time Michigan fails to move the ball, the sounds of boos will fill the shithole and demoralize the Michigan team even more. Unfortunately...this will likely be Lloyd Carr's last game at home. His fairwell will not be a happy one for him either. The "LLoyd Carr sucks" statements won't be coming from Ohio State fans after this game.
We have the better coach.
We have the better assistant coaches.
We have the better quarterback.
We have the better running back.
We have the better recievers.
We have the better offensive line.
We have the better defensive line.
We have the better linebackers.
We have the better secondary.
We have the better band.
The only thing that Michigan has going for them Saturday is that the game is in Ann Arbor. But will that make up for them being worse at almost every aspect of the game??? No fucking way! It might...JUST MIGHT keep them in the game...but I honestly doubt it. Michigan has struggled at home. 2 of their 3 losses were at home. For those of you that have been to the shithole...you know how uneffective their "home field advantage" is. Michigan Stadium is not loud. It's not like Penn State...not even close. It's not even as loud as the Metrodome in Minnesota...or Wisconsin. They have a lot of fans, but they are so far away from the field and all the sound just goes out of the stadium, it has nothing to bounce off of.
Ohio State players have been waiting for this chance all year. To get a win at Michigan. The Seniors want a winning record against Michigan. They have embraced what this game really means....they are ready for The Game.
