G Jamar Butler (Official Thread)

Butler has certainly made his mark at tOSU and is in the record books.....when I think of Jamar, I think of a quiet assassin. Thanks for the memories JB and good luck in the future. Some have questioned his desire this year....but in the end, he helped hang another banner at the Schott. Not to bad.

:io: . Jamar's a legend....I agree with the title of "the quiet assasin". He doesn't seem to draw the hype that some other big recruit players do, but when on court it's his mastery of the college game that does the all talking!

Jamar's irreplaceable! Thanks for the memories!

This is pretty impressive......

49th player in OSU history to join the 1,000-point club for his career....won 105 games at OSU along with Twigs (school record)......played in more games than anyone in OSU history (138)........broke the record for most three-pointers in a single season (104) and is the career assist leader (580) and career three-pointers made (242).

Not to mention the 2 Big Ten Championships, Final Four and now the NIT Championship.....

Jamar has gone through a lot during his career at Ohio State and all he has done is helped win championships and put his name in the Ohio State record books. Jamar deserves all the accolades that we are giving him. Best of luck to you in your pursuit of your basketball dream and thank you!

We are really gonna miss you next year Jamar, good luck at the next level, whatever that is for you, and know that you will always be loved in Columbus. Who knows, maybe someday we will hang a banner with your name on it up next to the other legends of tOSU basketball.
