Last night was a little more than I expected on a regular basis. Props to you Jamar! You are the man!

Maybe not 25 pts/game, but taking the ball to the hoop, taking good looks, and making smart decisions and really playing hard, and leading the team...

I really think it helped Butler getting Hill some minutes here and there, and also the 35 minute half time break...

Men's Basketball: The Legacy of Jamar Butler

In his relatively short time at Ohio State, head coach Thad Matta has seen many talented Buckeyes come though his powerhouse program. From Tony Stockman, Je?Kel Foster and Terence Dials to Greg Oden and Mike Conley Jr., there has been much change over the past few years, with extraordinary talent and Big Ten championship teams.

The one thing that has remained the same, however, is senior point guard Jamar Butler and his central role in Buckeye basketball?s success.

It has been, in many ways, a Cinderella story of sorts for Butler from the beginning.

Read the full story in the official game program vs. Michigan State at Value City Arena. Programs can be purchased on the main concourse.
