If you thought a move to the FCS world would simmer Bo Pelini, think again. The former head coach of Nebraska is still raging as head coach of Youngstown State, as Saturday showed in epic fashion.

Bo has YSU back where they belong - the playoffs. They're definitely not the favorite to win the title, but they do host a playoff game Saturday vs Samford.

Holy shit...how many teams make the playoffs? There's like eight FCS playoff games today and this is the second round if I'm not mistaken.
EDIT: Googled the brackets. Fucking 24 teams make the playoffs, with the top eight getting a bye. So, there's essentially eight "play-in" games to get into the sixteen-team bracket.
And the media is whining about having to pick four teams for the FBS playoff...

YSU had a punt blocked, missed two field goals, missed an extra point, turned the ball over inside their own 40 twice, gave up a 75 yard TD run to the QB...and won in double overtime, 30-23. Wofford didn't complete a single pass all day. 
They'll take on the winner of Eastern Washington-Richmond in the semifinal, which will be televised by ESPN next week.
EDIT: Eastern Washington 38, Richmond 0 in the 4th. YSU will fly west to play on that silly red field against the second-seeded Eagles.

Neither team scored in the 1st OT period either. Wofford fumbled on 4th and 1 from the YSU 2, then on YSU's possession the Penguins kicker missed a 37 yard FG for the win.
