From a UW fan...Kick the @#$# out of Florida!

planetgator.com is pretty sweet as well. it will be nice for us to have streaming video of the national championship game, especially since fox likely won't re-air the game.

Congrats on the win, but what is the point of calling our coach a crier? Do you think its wrong to stand up for your team and speak your mind?

can we make a pact? we'll stop calling him the urban crier if the gator fans quit basing virtually all debates on sec speed.

I'm not going to say that UF will beat the Buckeyes, but Troy and the boys better bring their lunch boxes because its going be a long day of hard labor.

Arky is one dimensional and UT is full of simpletons, they both deserved to lose.

Urban Meyer is an amazing coach and we are glad to have him. I believe he'll end up putting more trophies in the case than Spurrier did in a shorter period of time. We were pathetic before he came (Ron Zook is a joke of a coach) and now he has us in the big game in his second year. Watch out for this guy. He grew up an OSU fan and has made this Gator fan at least see how rich and thick the tradition is up there.

Good post by a gator fan. I live in South Florida, and have to say I have run into more "hater gators" than I have real fans of college football. This is going to be a great game, and I think it will be closer than most think. Anyways, Kudos for being a fan and not a hater. But, I do have to give you this:

I don't believe the SEC is any faster than any other conference, everybody is fast these days. I do believe that Percy Harvis is one of the fastest football players I've ever seen though. That guy is going full speed on his first step and can cut on a dime. You guys need to watch out for him, and Bubba Caldwell is not much slower. Your secondary is gonna have it's hands full.
Not that ours won't.

im not going to bash you since you are a good and honest florida fan as opposed to the typical trolls you get from every team ya know. however this is just my opinion but i think meyer is a really overrated coach. in the close games and losses i saw from florida this year it looked to me as if florida was more outcoached than outplayed and some of his play calling was well not very spectacular. in my opinion chris leak is a rare talent and a really spectacular QB if you instill the confidence in him to be and get him to realize his ability to run with the ball. he doesnt like getting hit and kinda lets up in the process. they say he isnt a mobile QB which is a bunch of BS. i listen to the gameday crew always talk about how IMMOBILE he is yet when zook brought him in from independence he had great ability to make plays on his feet and its not like he is slow. and what makes zook such a bad coach? ever since spurrier left florida has struggled all the same and leak was slow in getting confidence. most of the players on that national championship game team you have are from zook and he is building something special at illinois. he got juice williams and next year a very good WR coming there and he doesnt have much to go on. they were good enough to play right with my ohio state team and seem coached very well. point is i dont think zook can be considered mediocre and meyer can be considered as great as what the public makes him out to be from what ive seen but time will tell.

Greetings from a badger fan and congrats on the season so far...

As you have probably noted, our conference is now 2-0 against the 'legends in their own minds', the Sorry Excuse Conference.

I can't believe the crap I have been reading, no respect at all- mostly from fans but Nutt's presser was a dandy too. B10 beats them on a neutral field head to head, and apparently we still suck. Heres a gem from an Arkansas fan "the Cap One bowl prez is a UM grad, and had the grass grown longer to neutralize our speed!" or "HOW could UT possibly lose to Penn State? Fulmer is terrible!" LOL so apparently its Fulmers fault?

Or maybe, just MAYBE there might be some decent teams in the B10? WHAT A CONCEPT!!

Some of the stuff i've read from Florida fans is so outlandish and arrogant, its not even worth citing... Please give Urban Cryer what he deserves, a trip to the woodshed, and hopefully i'll be back here on the 9th laughing about
the laundry list of excuses.

Every team has its share of idiot fans, and it always seems to be the team your team is playing next. These forums have their share of Ohio State homers. I mean most of you think that OSU is going to score 30+ points on the Gators. No one has scored that much on us all year. I doubt there will be 30 points total in the game.
