My son and I will be in Columbus this weekend for a volleyball tournament. We are done on Monday, but I am thinking about extending my hotel by a night and watching the game somewhere in Columbus. What would be a good spot to take him? Need somewhere he can get in, since he is 16.

Preface this with the fact that I live out west and much has changed in Columbus. But what I know to be true are four spots that I love and will have all Buckeyes where your kid can be. Here we go:
1. Adriatico's Pizza (on campus, best pizza ever made and good TV setup...you can have a beer but no restrictions on the kiddos being there...easily the #1 recommendation in this situation, but get a reservation if you can...parking and walking will be a bitch honestly, but well worth it)
2. Urban Meyer Pint House (might sound cliche, but a great time and restaurant set up that is a good family environment)
3. Woody Hayes Tavern (Student Union): Awesome food and good TV setup, plus you are right in the Oval...the most majestic place on campus, so many great memories there.
4. Old Bag of Nails (Upper Arlington): I love this place and you should have parking if you get there early enough. Great place to watch a game right across the Olentangy.
That's just my 2 cents.

anyone else seeing the lack of talk about our defense again?
What the hell is it that no one seems to talk about our defense? Is it because our offense needs to be stopped if the other team has a shot?
Geez all I hear about is how their defense is doing. What about our defense? We are the number 1 defense after all and they’re 9th in total yards.
They’re a good defense but they’re also now without their best DL, their best corner, and their other best DL is really banged up too.

If the good guys win the Natty, it will likely be because the Silver Bullets will have another outstanding performance. Ours is an elite defense. All things being equal, an elite defense should win against a decent or good offense every time.
