Game Thread For the Natty vs ND, “One More, Then Forever”, Jan. 20th, 34-23 Buckeyes!

JJ was also pretty open from a few replays I saw.

But I do think Texas had a much stronger pass rush that forced Howard to make quicker decisions and get rid of the ball faster. A lot of the throws designed to go to JJ are slower developing from his X spot. I don't think the coaches did much to adjust because he was an excellent decoy for Tate, EE and our TEs.
This.

Yeah like you mention them having to do it vs the best DL in the country is quite an ask.
We very well might have the best DL in the country, or at least damn near it. JT, Jack, Tyleik and Hamilton have just improved every game this year and the back end of the season has been dominant, along with really good play from Curry, Jackson and Houston rotating in.

Then the LBs have really been freed up to make plays and are capitalizing. Styles has improved so much from the beginning of the year and of course Simon has been lights out. The OL will have to deal with our entire front 7, which often includes a DB coming up (Ransom is the main one). I'm not trying to be overconfident here, but I really like the matchup here and winning this game in a dominant fashion...score may look closer than it was type of game, but everyone will see who the better team is. Hard not to be confident in this team to do that.

JackSaw’s play put him ahead of Tuimoloau in career sacks, 23 to 22.5. I’m hoping they trade the career sack lead 3 or 4 times in their final game together. Finishing tied at 25 seems like an excellent way to round out their career stats.

JT is also at 11.5 sacks for this season, just behind Abdul Carter’s 12. The Pedsters have played 16 games already due to the CCG, so is JT gets one next Monday he can lead the B1G in sacks for the season in the same number of games.
