Close for me, to an extent. 28-7 was when I was saying "no way they score 28", but there was still a lot of game left, and they got within striking distance. The moment I KNEW we were champs was when that ball went into the air and the camera showed a wide open Jeremiah. If that ball is contested, then they were back in the game. JS being wide fucking open had me shouting for joy at the tv with my fellow Buckeye fans. That play was a glorious capper, and an absolute guarantee we had it won, but for me, after we went up 21-7 my attitude towards the lucky charmers for the rest of the game was:

Just sayin’
Same! Yelled Natty at that exact moment of joy we have forever.Close for me, to an extent. 28-7 was when I was saying "no way they score 28", but there was still a lot of game left, and they got within striking distance. For me it was Smiths 2nd TD against Oregon. I don't know why, I just knew.I'm sure that's true for almost everyone, but that JS catch was the moment I knew we were the champs.
I knew right after ND scored their opening TD. The look on Leonard‘s face after that drive, I knew that they left virtually everything they had on the field during the opening drive. No way they could keep up with what they were doing running him like that. It was almost a concession that they had no other way to get it done.
Were if and buts candy and nuts...I did think “there’s no way they can keep this up” but I was curious if our defense was wore out too.
If ND had kept running the ball well the second drive man it’d be hard for a defense to keep taking a beating like that
Took 15 minutes out of my morning and watched this, great look into the band. Also an incredible view of the stadium while they're marching down the field.
