29 was abused all night long. Emeka knocked the poor bastard back about 7 yards on a tackle attempt earlier in the game too. Lol. Straight set him on his ass.

Got the long sleeve and t-shirt. Not up to standards but not really bad at all for the price imo. Waiting on a couple pieces for the shadow box, but I did go for a couple things that will go by it. Plenty of space on the wall for this one, I'm pretty frugal but I'll open the wallet a bit for this one off there's a legit deal.

Ohio State trailed Notre Dame in the first quarter of the 2025 College Football Playoff (CFP) national championship game.

Explanation
  • Notre Dame received the opening kickoff and drove 75 yards for a touchdown in nearly 10 minutes.
  • Ohio State responded with an 11-play drive that ended with a touchdown from Jeremiah Smith.
  • Ohio State took control after the first half, only allowing Notre Dame to run seven more plays.
  • Ohio State went on to win the game.

I watched the command center replay last night. Not my favorite format, but I had to try it out. First, I am so over that broadcast team, they are just fingernails on the chalkboard. Too bad we don't get the alternate broadcasts as a regular feature. That fumble by Egbuka was a killer. Worst case we would have run 2 more minutes off the clock, kicked a field goal and gone up by 19. Game over at that point. (Can't fault the guy, we wouldn't have gotten that far without his play and leadership.

In fairness to Egbuka, the ND guy made a really great play to punch it out. Sometime you just have to tip your hat to an opponent. I agree that there would have been somewhat less stress without the fumble, but getting to see 3rd and Jeremiah was adequate compensation for the added stress in my mind.

I like to look at it as.....we were up (I think) 24. With the way their garbage offense worked, the only way they were going to win was if 3 miracle things all happened, along with 3 2 point conversions.....all while we didn't score another point. They got 2 of those miracles and 2 of those conversions. They just couldn't get a 3rd. And they were never going to. It's kinda insane they got 2 of them.
