He and his family (dad-sound familiar?) aren’t happy with way Norvell has hosted multiple transfer QB’s on campus and they never approached Tate to talk about how they’d be handling the position going into next season. I can’t say I wouldn’t be a little pissed off too….its fine to bring guys in, but I think a conversation is always best to be had.

An interesting, additional layer here, is Tate Rodemaker’s father is tight with Kirby Smart….there’s some hurt feelings in Tally, that Smart may have advised Rodemaker to sit the game, in the event it’s an absolute blood bath. Kirby essentially telling Tate’s father it’d be better for Tate’s career and portal opportunities to sit out game and not put this game on tape…..

You cant seem to grasp that i have no problem with him saying "cool, good luck" and leaving. Everyone would feel a way about that situation.

It's still always a bad decision to burn bridges before you have a home. Set yourself up for success, then tap dance out the door.
McCord, for example, did it right. His tape isn't super impressive -- but it exists and he looks like a decent game manager. He said "bye" with plenty of material to shop his abilities.
Put tape down. Get offers. Then ditch them.
This doesn't sound like a decision he sat down and thought a lot about; it looks like a decision made while he was in his feelings.

That said, still enjoying the schadenfreude. Screw FSU.
