Thank god for what? I haven't done anything warranted of getting banned. I have made my opinion on one thing, I am not going all over the board flaming threads left and right, I am not even resorting to name calling like most of you are. I have kept my discussion where they wanted it to belong 99% of the time. Banning me would be ridiculous because the only reason for it would be not liking my opinion... other than that what ground would there be for it?

You are aware that pretty much every program on God's green earth has down years? I don't know why I'm asking, because this is a concept you clearly cannot grasp. I guess UNC should tell Roy to hit the bricks since they lost to Belmont, UAB, Miami, and Wake Forest this year. See ya, Coach Kryzjbkdajhbsjuski. You lost to ND, Clemson, Wake, and (gasp!) Mercer.

So let's go over what we have here:

1. A coach on a historical run at a school not really known for basketball success

2. A year where, despite an offensive efficiency ranking of lower than 150, still won 25 games and was competitive in most games in the best league in college basketball.

3. A team that still didn't quit, despite the tough times experienced within the season, and still nearly having the most efficient defense in college basketball (defense = effort)

4. Despite a lot of factors working against them, still qualified for the NCAA tournament with a favorable seed only to be beaten by a team that went on its own historical run

And despite all of this - 3 straight sweet 16s, 2 final fours, 3 Elite 8s, a National Runner-up and an NIT championship at a Non-traditional basketball power which is a traditional FOOTBALL power - you're still calling for his head to replace him with scum (Pearl, Calhoun), guys who took twice as long to win a championship (Boeheim) and legacy coaches at other programs who have had very similar struggles in years where their team wasn't as talented as those that won the biggest crapshoot in all of sports otherwise known as the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Who is trolling again?

- 5 B1G titles
- 4 Conf Tournament titles
- 5 Sweet 16s
- 3 Elite 8s
- 2 Final 4s
- 27.5 wins per year (roughly averages 28-8 per season)
- 3 time B1G COY

There are very few coaches around the entire country that can match that resume, yet your entitled ass thinks he deserves to be replaced because he hasn't delivered you a national title. Seriously, GTFOH...

Certainly explains the number of times you've bumped this thread yourself, or others, like Grad's Fair Warning thread and the Jwins v. LJB thread.

It seems your real problem is the bulk of the people on this board don't agree with your position. From that, you seem to take the position that we must therefore be wrong, or yes men, or what the fuck ever. It doesn't occur to you that not one national person knowledgeable in college basketball agrees with you, instead you cling to something LJB said that "kinda" supports what you have been trying to argue. From these facts, it never occurs to you that maybe it is your position in need of re-evaluation. Nope.. it's everyone else's right? Cause HolyBuckey10 is NEVER wrong, right?

And.. as much as you piss and wine about having the "right" to your opinion.. guess the fuck what.. so do we. Individually. And.. as it seems, collectively in this instance.

I would like for nothing more than to be proved wrong by Matta as this next season he leads the team to a B10 title and actuall a run at the NC, but we all know that's not likely unless Amir, Shannon, Sam, Marc, and Tre improve greatly. We just lost our rock, our leader in Craft, our most talented scorer in Q, a vet and solid defender in Lenzelle. I do not see how this next season will be any better unless. 3 years later and Shannon, Sam, Amir, and Tre really haven't developed as much as we'd need them to win and make a deep run.
