Just because you're all too blind to see it doesn't make it wrong big guy. With how amazing Matta has recruited I am disappointed we don't even have one NC to show for it in his 10 seasons. I guess Ohio State basketball fans are just happy to make the tourney...

It's not noteworthy because nobody takes us seriously. People outside of OSU fans look at us as chokers. They kind of have an argument. This years team was good enough to beat MSU, good enough to beat Wisky, yet played down to teams like Indy, PSU, NWstern etc. Not to mention our OOC was really weak this year so we weren't even tested early on. That's why we collapsed, we didn't play anyone before B10 season and it killed us. The team was not well prepared this year and really only got to the dance as we limped in on shear raw talent.

I expect a team that recruits in the top 10 on a yearly basis to be able to be a top 10 team and actually do something in the tourney. Something we haven't been all that great at as of the last few seasons. Football has nothing to do with this, other good football schools have done well in the tourney, look at Florida, MSU, Wisky this year.

Because unlike those easy to use ESPiN Boards, people here are going to counter your repeated ignorance about Thad Matta and his tenure at Ohio State. I realize you can't handle being completely proven wrong repeatedly, but you are going to be challenged and your trolling will be mocked and laughed at as long as you continue to come back, troll.

If your a "real fan" what does some one on ESPN or a fan of Michigan say bother you...F them, Get behind your team and support them..you can criticize certain exact things but saying Matta sucks and cant recruit is stupid. Everyone of his recruits was wanted by all of college b ball..because they havent done the personal work to improve is no ones fault. I submit some of your favs Calhoun and Pearl would not have done as well as Matta with the same talent, When Matta started at a mid major he had success with less talent then most. Matta does it the right way his men are not thugs I would rather be where we are at..than win a NC with people you wouldnt want as neighbors!

I said Matta is overrated, not that he sucks. I never said he can't recruit, in fact I have praised his ability to recruit. Matta's strong point is recruiting, it;s the lack of development that bothers me.

I keep coming back to the thread that was inspired by me. So sue me. You may not like my position but at least I have stuck around to hold my ground on it instead of posting that and then running off, you may not like it but I'm stick by it.

Proven wrong, that's funny I don't seem to see anything of the sort. The success he has had is the players he recruited with their raw talent, not that he has developed them... for example like Wichita St did to their guys this year, or Bo and his Wisky boys.
