So, again...if you don't win national titles at a traditionally middling basketball program within 10 years, you're out.

Disregard the fact that you have taken a sinking program and made them consistently relevent on the national level, and a topic in national title discussions for most of the last 8 years. Forget that you've done it with a clean NCAA record. Forget that you have made a FOOTBALL SCHOOL care about roundball. Forget that national recruits, that in the past wouldn't take tOSU's calls, now actually come here. Forget all that. You didn't win it all, something not done here in 50 years. You're fired, pal. Yeah, that's a recipe for success.

Are you familiar with what has happened to many programs in the past that had a great thing going, but decided it wasn't enough?

I care that we have choked a lot yes. I can sleep well losing to a Sr laden NC winning UF team in the NC, to a great Kansas team in the Final. What I cannot live with is being bounced out by Sienna, Wichita St (even if it was the elite 8), Dayton, and getting murderd by Georgetown.

BTW if you're ranking basketball programs between about 1970 through 2004, Georgetown is a giant compared to Ohio State. The difference is Thad Matta has provided a stable program with a steady stream of good to great college basketball players.

So, your standards are to reach the final 4 every year and NEVER lose to a team considered "inferior"? Guess Coach K should pack his bags. Bill Self? Never woulda made it past 2007. You really are ridiculous. I am very tolerant of other people's opinions. My posting history here bares that out. But you are waaaaaay too much.

You have a ridiculously inflated opinion of what tOSU basketball was pre-Thad Matta. Your posting indicates that you are somewhere around 18 years old. tOSU basketball hadn't been consistently relevent for anything more than short stretches for 40 years before Thad Matta made them a consistent top-10 program. Seriously, you're either a teenager, or one of the most deluded fans on the interwebs.
