Yup after the spring game they're ripping up the grass and puttin down the turf..

I thought I heard on the radio back a couple months ago that they would "patch" the existing grass field for the Spring Game, then make the change after that. fwiw

So the new turf is what? Plastic and grass? Plastic? Green beer and sand? I guess thay keep the same drainage system. I thought Purdue's pro turf was suppossed to solve these problems. Why didn't the stuff ever hold up in Ohio Stadium?
