Rodney Dangerfield
Bit of a nightmare for the places that booked him, though. A few of my friends worked with him one weekend and said never again. Not that it's an issue these days...

Once had to host 20 or so little old ladies in an area where George Carlin's live show was being piped in. They were utterly horrified... now that was comedy.

Jerry Seinfeld's security rivals that of the President... they're going to end up shooting someone one of these days.

Good calls on Dave Attell and Jim Breuer. I never really liked Seinfeld as a Stand-Up, translated well to sitcoms, but just wasn't that funny to me on stage. Dane Cook is not for everyone, I find him pretty funny but "Employee of the Month" has me rethinking that. That movie was a syphillis infected cum-bubble.

That's what happens when you take funny man and give him a script to read from. With other good comedians you can see their personality come out in their characters. Not with Employee of the Month. Anyone could have played that role. He lost a lot of his real fans with that Hollywood crap.

Well, his role in Waiting was hilarious but him playing major roles just won't cut it.

That and the entire script was God-awful. I turned the movie off 45 minutes in when I was still waiting for my first laugh, I seriously did not so much as chuckle. I could see every "gag" coming from a mile away, the whole premise was retarded and they also could have got a hot chick than can actually act. I only saw Jessica Simpson in two scenes (thank God), and she has all the onscreen personality of a cardboard cutout...just horrible. Definately in my Top-3 worst movies ever.

Agreed, the whole thing was terrible, but it made money. Dane Cook (the hottest thing at the time) + Jessica Simpson (obvious reasons) = box office success, and I believe the DVD sales are going well also.

I saw Dane Cook live, funniest comedian I have ever seen. Watching him on HBO or something else is no substitue for the live show. I have also seen Brian Regan live, HILLARIOUS as well, but Dane is still #1. Regan is touring now and will be in Canton in february which I am going to again!

I like Jim Gaffigan, Brian Regan, and obviously Jerry Seinfeld.

Brian Regan... hands down the funniest comedian out there today. I have front row tickets for him in June when he comes to the Hard Rock in Orlando. I've seen him 4 other times and he gets better each time.

Most of you guys were too young, but Steve Martin's album was as big as Frampton Comes Alive for a while. He was as big as any act of the 70's. Lets get Small was one of the funniest stand up acts ever, it still holds up today.

"...so I shot her...with a shotgun. Blew her right in half"
