Favorite plot twist movie

Signs

I wish I was old enough to have experienced the "Luke...I am your father" twist. It just isn't the same when you don't have a memory of when people didn't know that.

What was the twist in "Signs"? I thought that was a straight-forward movie.

But to go along with M. Night Shamalamadingdong movies, "The Village." Though maybe someone said it, already.

I've thought about that when discussing how neat it would be for someone to watch the 6 episodes in order. Would the ending of Episode V be much of a huge deal? I don't think so.

One of the all-time great plots is a movie called "House of Games" with Joe Montegna and Lindsay Krause. Great movie about conmen - a million times better than Grifters. Some very good plot twists in that one. If you have never seen this movie, please do yourself a favor and rent it.
Also, liked Body Heat (for many reasons) and "Heist" with Gene Hackman.
Have to say that I had "6th Sense" figured, but not so with the "Usual Suspects".

Someone alluded to japanese horror films - "Audition" certainly has a great plot twist.

The glasses of water, the boy's asthma, the baseball bat, and the dead wife's comment. The fact that the daughter would never finish a glass of water (thus the glasses of water being readily available to melt the alien), the fact that live-in brother kept striking out when he played semi-pro ball but still kept a bat hanging on the wall for the longest home run hit at some field (and thus being readily available to beat the shit out of the alien), the line that his wife said just before she died ("swing away"?), which gave the clue to get the bat, and the asthma that kept the boy from breathing in the poison. All of these themes kept recurring throughout the movie but didn't seem to mean anything until the end. Just like 6th Sense, once you watch the movie the second time you pick up all the bread crumbs that M. Night Shaboygan kept dropping for the audience.

Mili already answered the Signs question well.

Personally, I was disappointed with The Village. I kind of guessed that it was a hoax from the very beginning. I thought it would have been a much better twist if some type of monsters actually did exist despite the hoax.

Whatever movie this is in. Who knew they would have to go to the center of the universe?

The Spanish Prisoner is also pretty good, with Steve Martin and Campbell Scott. It's also by David Mamet, like House of Games.
